well im fulton county ive been seeing lil bucks chasing doe's. a friend of mines buddy has a video of the buck he killed and the neck is freakin HUGE. it looked like a horses neck. pretty sure he was getting in the mood

its so hot. its suppose to cool down a bit this week. ive only been out once since oct 1 cuz the weather is just to hot and i dont wanna risk a misplaced shot. you almost have to find the deer right away and get it cooled or cut up fast. where at you coming in illinois. good luck

before doing anything with goose i soak it in milk to help get rid of the gamey taste that goose has. umm other than that use whatever marinade that your taste buds will enjoy

i personally think allowing youths to take bucks now is crazy. it dont bother me that youths can harvest a doe with a gun over a month before others can with a gun. i feel that they should be given the same opportunity to harvest a buck like everybody else. i also agree that they will shoot little bucks instead of passing them up and practicing quality deer management. i also think this is just as bad as allowing illinois gun hunters to hunt 1/2 hour after sunset now. come on. give the deer a break. that half an hour is going to make a big dif. u already are hunting with a gun which is almost unfair to the deer and now they passed a law to let you hunt longer and make gun hunting even eaiser than what it is already.

i have a browning gold 3 1/2. i was wondering if i just use a screw driver to get the butt pad off. then once i get it off is there somekind of spring in there. also where can i buy new springs that go there. i think my spring is bad. thanks for any help nathan

yep my girlfriend hunts. she was a hunter before i even met her. she hunts deer and turkey. i took her out trap shooting for the first time last week and shes a natural or beginners luck but she broke 45 out of 50.

Re: Illinois Public Land Hunting dont know about those specific locations. i would look into banner marsh, jubilee state park, and marshall county public hunting grounds. ive hunted all three of these places as the have good potential for killing deer. ive seen some huge deer killed and seen huge ones that have been harvested out of these areas. i strongly recomend em. if u have any questions feel free to ask. they are all within 15 minutes of peoira illinois nathan
