  2. Re: Hunting Pics in School!!!!! That is great about your school, I wonder what the people who are against hunting would think the first time a deer ran out in front of their car and they hit it doing thousands of dollars worth of damage, it is to bad people still think hunting is wrong!!
  3. Re: biggest bow kill Nice buck, sounds like a great day in the woods.
  4. Re: Survey Question I use about 95% venison. I have it made into sausage, burger and steaks to give a little variety. I usually shoot two to three deer a year.
  5. Re: Food plot question Thanks for the info, I have found that it is a real learning process to put food plots in.
  6. Re: Head, Latrine, Bathroom, Restroom I have students ask me all the time "Can I go to the bathroom" I just look at them and say "I don't know can you" and most of them think about it for a second figure out what I am asking them to say and then they ask "May I go to the bathroom" its not hard to get seventh graders to crack a smile!! Just thought I would share
  7. Re: Some Like it HOT!!!(pic) I do not have children yet but I am sure if you fed it to a baby you would have a real messy diaper on your hands!!
  8. Re: Can\'t find a buck Are you being carefull not to exhaust your stands and leave a lot of scent on your property. If you are doing this you may be making the bucks come out just during the night. You are probably also hunting an area where the deer travel and do not bed. Just a few thoughts, it is hard to tell without seeing the property.

  21. Re: MEN!!!!!!!!!! The worst part is he is probably one of those guys that has a wife and three kids at home and would not care if you are married. To many people out there like that. Many hunters have that saying "whats happens at deer camp stays at deer camp"
  22. I am just getting started in creating food plots on our property. We have a 500 acre piece of property which consists of 100 acres of corn this year and will be alfalfa next year for a four year rotation. On the end of the property where I hunt I do not have any food source. I have a field that has not had anything done with it in the past 5 years. I am looking to make a food plot to attract more deer to my end of the property. I live in New York so we do have lots of snow and cold weather during the deer season. What I was thinking of doing is putting in either Whitetail Institute Imperial Whitetail Clover or Evolved habbitats ProVide Forage Clover & Chicory. I would also like to create another small food plot next to the clover and put in some Evolved habbitats ShotPlot Forage Attractant so that I have two planting next to each other in the same food plot for a little variety. Has anyone ever used these seeds or does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks QDMAworks4me
  23. Re: Little Brothers First Buck! Sounds like your family eats a lot of venison!! congrats to your brother on the deer!!
  24. Re: OUT OF MISERY HARVEST \"I\'M MAD\" Well on our property we do not shoot anything that has less than an eight point rack, but I guess what you choose to shoot will have to depend on the area where you hunt. A 2 1/2 year old deer after a normal winter will have an eight point rack here in NY. We have been doing this for about 5 years now and it works great. We have a few DMAP tags that we apply for through the state and we try very hard to fill all those also.
