Re: Prostate Cancer (oh well) My dad was diagnosed 8-9 years ago - he had a prostatectomy at the time and he is on intermittent meds but has done very well... Steve - we'll keep you in our prayers and ask the Lord to give you wisdom is making decisions and give you and your family strength through all of this.

Re: TURKEY TEAM #15 Yesterday, with a little snow on the ground (I like to scout during the late snows of the winter/early spring because it's easy to see where the tracks are and where they go...) I went out to the same spot that I killed a nice bird last year - saw 2 hens and 2 jakes (I think I killed their daddy last year!) so I know birds are still there - hopin there's a mature gobbler there too!

Re: who all is huntin boy - I think the summary of what folks are saying is this: rather than thinking about or counting your friends or wondering if anyone likes or doesn't like you or how many people like or don't like you, instead just invest your time and mental energy into being productive and creative and "being a friend" to others - the rest will just come naturally...

Re: What\'s your youngest... Just 2 days ago took my 4 year old girl hunting for the first time - squirrel hunting - she can't shoot yet but she sure loved it. I'll let her start shooting when she can steadily hold a gun up without shaking - I'll start her off on a 22 then move to shotguns if/when she wants.

Re: TURKEY TEAM #15 Ranger - with that kind of turkey count, the gobblers are there... they are still grouped up away from the hens - I'll bet there are several old gobblers there (that's also probably why the twiggie bearded jakes are grouped up too). I'd be hunting that farm in a heartbeat - I'll bet you just found a gold mine....
