Re: Corn Is Coming Out the one feild were i hunt is down for abotu 2 weeks but still got 2 more feilds that are standing but wont be for long i gives them cover from us hunters plus we can catch the going from the corn to the woods or the woods to the corn

Re: School for deer & land management? penn state is a good ag college they do all that kinda stuff and there is a small college its private about 500 students only and it has all that my one buddy is going ot it now and i cant think of the name but it all abotu that u can hunt fish camp ride 4 wheeler snowmobile all that right on campus that have liek idk how many hundred acers up there

i got a doe yesterday but dont know how to put pics on a post so i will tell u about it 150 yard shot and she went about 150 feild dressed she only ran 50 yards after the shot not to bad for a 7 mm08

Re: Cut Beans??? it depends on how logn the beans and bean stubbl lay after a whiel they might not jsut keep a eye and u shopuld be able to tell within a week

Re: Planting Wheat Question disc or till it up if u can soem and then broad cast or if u can get a planter back there use that it should come up with jsut gettign the leaves and grass back and stuff plant soem wheat rye oats sogrum all in one that would be a good play i have a long narrow path as well but it is jsut in grass with a few spots of corn on the sides

Re: Golden Rod spot to standing corn? if u spry the corn the weeds wont grow u dont spray u are gonan have alot of weeds i am a farmer and i knwo for sure we had 3 feilds of corn that never got sprayed by the coop people

if i went in and cut down soom dead or dieing weeds and soem small saplings with a machetie or soem kinda of no power weed cutter do u think the deer would mine it much. i wont be hunting arodun there till december just wanted to know what ur thoughts were. i aint to sure if it would or wouldnt i jsut wanan clear some path for moth shooting lanes and walking so i dont gotta walk jstu on the power line and threw alot of brush i am gonan leave the thick stuff just let me know on ur thoughts sorry about my spelling

Re: PA Deer ithink it should be 1 buck and 1 doe tag atleast for one year and see what happens then i knwo last year i seen 3 deer on stand and that was on private land that was all i iddnt fill my tags well that is mmy thoughts

Re: acorns and oaks well thansk for the help i got soem more today i am up to abotu 200 white oak acorns now i might get some red ones and saw tooth also and try soem of them too thanks for all the info i jsut gotta go look for soem red ones and sawtooth ones the white oak are right outside my house i jsut dnt got ot many oaks were i hunt and want ot plant some more ot help with it when i am old and barly abel to hunt well thanks guys keep the info coming

Re: acorns and oaks what if i put them in a container and wait and plant them in the spring and leve them outside all winter would that work as a freez cycle see i ma only 16 so if i plant thme this spring i should be able to see them produce

i got some white oak acorns about 100 of them i thoguht about planting them and see how they do but i think i read befor abotu something and i wanan knwop how u can tell if there good or bad idk i am just intersted into cause of were i hunt there aint to many of them and i wanan get more of them around sence i am only 16 and will see them grow cuase we own the land well please let me know
