2 bucks fighting after coyotes took a chunk out
tc2506 replied to Stinger-Hunter's topic in Bowhunting
Re: 2 bucks fighting after coyotes took a chunk ou [ QUOTE ] I am the webmaster of "Whitetail Deer Passion" and yes the video is pretty horrible to look at and yes coyotes can do some damage. But that is their job, mother nature knew what she did when she created animals like deer and predators like coyotes. It's called balnace of nature. I am somewaht disturbed by the hostile feelings against the coyotes who did nothing more than following the natural urge to eat. Perhaps as hunters we sometimes feel that we compete with the predators and rather would have the deer all to ourself. As stated in another post, Nature is cruel but yet at the same time it is perfect and in balance where each has its place and a duty to fulfill. [/ QUOTE ] i assume you guys dont have the coyote problems that we have down here in OK-KS-TX there mainge infested and are very over populated, its nothing to see 10 or so of them on every day i deer hunt. matter of fact this morning on my way out from my bowhunting spot i smoked 2 of them that were following 15 tom turkeys, they regularly kill cattle around here also,,all the farmers down here carry guns just to shoot the things, and beg us hunters to shoot all of them we see, -
Re: Video Update from Kansas better get up here brad, there going nuts, the does arent standing for em but the big boys are 100%ready and chasing, this morning i came really close to the big 1 i saw the other nite, rattled him in to about 40 yds got a good look at him he's a 11 and def a 170class animal,,i wont sleep tonite for sure, lol,,maybe tommorow he wont hang up in the hedge row

Re: how fast of winds will you hunt in when a cold front passed last nite with 35mph winds i whatched 7 buck,s from 130-170+ inches chase does out in a milo stubble field for about 1.5hrs, this morning same place different stand with a steady 35mph+ wind,, i saw 2- 150in bucks birddawg a doe for about 2.5hrs,,, i honestly didnt think i,d see a deer out this morning in that kinda wind,,, but yesterday they were already up moving before the windy front hit,,,, so in conclusion,,,i,f there rutting,,,i,ll hunt no matter what the wind is doing
