  1. Hope you get to feeling better soon Tim.
  2. Wow Mike, you did an excellent job. I'll never get tired of looking at all of the pics and videos from that trip. Sure brings back lots of memories. The pics are amazing.
  3. Wow, what a bruiser. Congrats Kendal....Way to go!!!
  4. Good luck Ruth. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
  5. Ruth, I ususally put "Attention Human Resourses", I will say that most likely your resume will get forwarded to the person that does the hiring, reguardless of the name you put on it. As the person that does the hiring for my building, I am more interested in what is "in" the resume, not who it is addressed to. I pm'd you my e-mail so you can send me your resume. I get alot of calls throughout the day at work from people wanting to know who to send resumes to. Good luck...... Catrina
  6. HE IS HOME.......WOOHOO.....I got the house mostly cleaned before he got home. Boy was I glad to see him. All the kids ran up and hugged his neck. I'll let him update everybody on what he brought home from Wisconson. Thank you to everybody for the moral support while he was gone.
  7. WOW, that is one big buck. Good luck on him.
  8. Nice buck Ruth. He's a bruiser.....go get 'em girl!!!
  9. Great pics Mike. I love watching turkeys, they are so funny. We had some in the back yard the other day and they were "playing". Flying around each other and flapping their wings. Only problem here is we only see them when it is "not" turkey season.......lol Thanks for sharing, I always love seeing your pics.
  10. Wow, that was great. I thought he was going to inhale his gum.....he sure was knawing on it hard......lol
  11. Prayers sent from Tennessee. Stay positive and focused. As Ruth said, as swelling goes down sometimes more function will return. You are in a great hands. Hang in there bud.
  12. Awesome video Kathleen. Great to hear from you. Can't wait for more videos. Alaska is simply amazing.
  13. That's what I was thinking. WTG Steve, that was exciting. Very cool videos too.
  14. Good luck baby. I'm rootin for you.
  15. Yeah, same here. We go straight from the field to the cooler on ice within a couple hours. I talked to him last night and they were looking for a deer that Randy had shot. wtnhunt told me that he will be heading home on Monday. I better get busy cleaning the house before he gets home............lol
  16. Thanks guys for the support. Fixin to head out here in a few minutes. Sunrise is at 6:23am, planning on getting to the stand about 5:45am. Still a pretty full moon here, looking like I won't even need a flashlight. My dad lives about 3 miles from me. I'll probably call him to help if I need it.
  17. Kind of the same situation here with the weather. Farmers have been at it hard all week harvesting the cotton fields all around us. Hoping that will get the bucks moving more. Going out in the morning, it is opener of our ML. Taking my middle daughter with me. Supposed to be 72 tomorrow. Down to 47 tonight. I'm gonna get out early and stay late. Good luck Tony on either of those bruisers.
  18. Do it! I would love to be able to go on a hunt with my hubby. It is kinda hard with the 3 kids. Usually we can get his parents to help for short periods at a time. Like this time, in which they pretty much watched the youngest while I was at work. We just don't have anyone to watch them for days at a time. Maybe when the kids get grown up and off to college we might go on a hunt together. Enjoy your time with Candace and take her with you next time. You'll be glad you did. It is pretty special when a husband and wife can share the same interests, like hunting. Makes your relationship so much stronger. Thanks for the support guys. I am going out in the morning for our ML opener. I am taking our middle daughter, Nicole, with me and my oldest is babysitting the little one. I hunt right here on my property, so I am only a walkie-talkie call and a few hundred yards from the house. Gonna be interesting without wtnhunt here to help me gut the thing if I get one. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there......lol
  19. Just wanted to share with my fellow women hunters that I really miss my baby. He (wtnhunt) is up in Wisconson with Randy on a deer hunt. He has been gone 5 days now, seems like an eternity. My in-laws just left about an hour ago. They came to help me with the kids. Now it is just us girls at home. He plans on coming back home Monday. Now I know how he felt while Christina and I were gone to Alaska for those 2 weeks. I sure do miss him....
  20. Just wanted to let you know that me and the girls are rooting for you back in Tennessee. We miss you bunches. Bring home some backstrap baby........ Can't wait to talk to you tonight.
  21. Very nice buck there. I love the dark antlers.
  22. Hang in there "uncle rootbeer". Keep your chin and hopes up. You'll get 'em.
