Me and a bunch of good freinds are getting a video crew together for the upcoming season and we have designed a logo and a name. Does anyone know how we can get a copyright for the logo? I've never done anything like this before so its all new to me. Do I even need a copyright for it?
Looks great. We just put out our trail cameras, but the farmer has corn, beans, and alfalfa planted this year. The last time it was the way it is now was the year my buddy shot his 138" buck and my dad and I both saw two big shooter a week apart. I'll take pics of the property for you guys.
I ordered a 20' ladder stick and three 4' pieces on monday and got them ups today. Man that was fast. I'm pumped up for the season now that I have 4 20' ladder sticks for this year instead of using all screw in steps. We have 4 20' ladder sticks, 8 stands, and 3 digital cameras running off of a 12 volt battery. I'm making 4 double sets for videoing. We a set!!!!!
I am ordering two new ladder sticks tomorrow. Hangin stands in 3 weeks, and setting up 3 cameras. Going out tuesday with highs in the low 70's to do some scouting from a distance.
Let me share a story with you guys. I'll make it short. My wife worked at lowes while in college back in 05'. She worked every sunday and I missed church because I didnt want to go without her. I was back sliden for 2 years. I missed the biggest buck of my life and named him gimpy. He would have scored in the upper 130's. Hunted him for 2 more years and saw him twice. On saturday Oct. 27th this year I was in my treestand praying for lots of things like family, my boss and obviously for another chance at gimpy. I made a promise in the stand that night that I wouldnt miss another Sunday of church for deer hunting and was serious about it and God knew my heart. Went to church Sunday morning and rededicated my life to Jesus. Monday at work decided to go out that evening and at 6:30 looked out over my decoy standing 75 yards away at a monster. When he started walkiing my way he was limping. IT WAS GIMPY!!! Shot him at 41 yards. Best night of my life. Dont ever be afraid to commit your life to the reason your even able to deer hunt. Without Jesus none of us would hunt.
Talked to my buddy the other day and talked to my dad and we decided to hang our stands in about 4 weeks. I'm pumped up to get out and get the season started. Hang stands in June. Hang cameras in late July. Then wait 8 weeks for opening day. We usually dont plant food plots because the farmer has beans, corn, and alfalfa planted every year.
I will never shoot anything else as long as they are on the market!!!!! We shot 6 deer this year with them and I bet we tracked a total of 200 yards between all 6 deer.
The only true way to measure is finger tip to finger tip with your back flat against the wall. Then divide it by 2.5. That is your true draw length. My true draw is 28.8. I set my draw on 28.5 and twisted my cables to add another 1/4 inch. So its set on 28.75.
Yeah, right know I'm spined slightly weak with an FOC of 10. Just shot my first 3-d shoot of the year and they flew great. My yardage is good and I need to work on my little bit of target panic I have. Couple weeks, I'll be fine.
Went out tonight after getting my new 3555 Xt hunter gold tips for 3-D and hunting. Shot them at 50 yards and shot most groups in a 3" group. Went out to 60 and shot 4 arrows in a 4" group. Then to 70 in a 3" group. Then out to 100 to be cocky. My sight tape is out to 70, I guessed where to put it and bounced on off the ground. THAT WAS DUMB!!!! Had fun though, great confidence booster.
