Re: Buck Grunt?? Hence the fight shortly afterwards that I could not see either. That makes sense. Thanks. I've never heard that before.

The other morning I heard a buck grunting but, this one was grunting one long grunt probably 20 seconds long followed by two short grunts. Has anyone heard this before? I have never heard a grunt this long before. I couldn't actually see the buck, was he breeding a doe?

Re: right now???? I've never had any luck with scents myself. I prefer to leave the land as natural as possible. With the buck bomb, the whole can sprays out dosen't it. That means the scent will remain there while you are not there. If you want to use scent, it is my opinion that you take it out of the woods with you. The bucks will check it out and not find any does there and leave, more than likely when you are not in your stand. Good luck!!
