  1. Depends on what you want to do with it. If you just want like a green or tan, I've used the H.S. brand of permanent duck boat paint and had very good luck.
  2. It's nice to hear from you Dale! I'm glad everything is going well for ya. Try not to be such a stranger around here!
  3. First off, welcome to RT! I've used Tekans since they first came out and probably shot around 15 deer with them. IMO They shoot almost exactly like my practice tips. Last year they came out with the bigger cutting diameter but I think they sacraficed the sharpness with the new material. Call me lazy if you will but I don't want to spend $35 on three heads that I have to sharpen before I use them. I am going to the Tight point fixed blade this year. They shoot awesome for me. There's no denying that Rage are the best "bad shot" broadheads on the market. They make a heck of a hole but, they shot a little low for me. I didn't want to have to change my sights between practicing and hunting. If you have the cash try a few different ones, my proshop actually let me shoot a few different ones, maybe yours will too. Good Luck!
  4. Something is telling me a speedgoat is gonna die...
  5. Ya took the words right out of my mouth Steve. Congrats to you both.
  6. What about me????:toot:
  7. Did you check the foot control? Sometimes they get sand in them and act goofy. Otherwise its an easy fix at a minnkota service shop. It's more than likely they just have to replace the "board" in the top part of the motor and the recalibrate it. Been there,.....done that..... ; )
  8. This is how I do my scouting. I sit up here and watch with binos. If it wasn't for this tower...... I'd of never shot this "big wallhanger" the second day of the season. ; ) Here he is the first time I saw him from the tower. (far right)
  9. Randy

    Where is he?

Neat pics! They sure are cute when they're young.
  10. I hope you have a great Birthday Joe!
  11. I tied to post one but, I'm computer illiterate... Just go to Hoyt USA and go to the photo of the week. Tom is the 6th pic on the top row. Pretty cool Tom!
  12. Have fun Tim. It's not so bad if your day off falls AFTER the trade work day. It's when you have to pay back the trade after your day off that stinks!
  13. Yuck! That's all I have to say about that.....
  14. Happy birthday Al, you old codger...
  15. Sounds nice but, it's hard to tell without PICS!!! :nono:
  16. That's exactly how I've made it for years Dakota. Now throw a little garlic salt on it and grab a big glass of Coke and eat some for me too!!

It's been a pleasure to have ya here Ross.
  18. A ten inch crappie is pretty good for around here! I like them through the ice but once the water warms up they seem to get a bit mushy. I went Yo-Yo ing once in Arkansas and we were whacking 15"ers!
  19. I've got a few of them and I really like them other than the bail springs tend to ware out in a couple years.
  20. Continued prayers for you and your family Kyle...
