Re: My first day of deer hunting (OH BOY, OH BOY) If you dont have anything to rest on while standing stay sitting down and use your knee as a rest. Like they do in the turkey hunting shows. Thats how I do it and it works great.

Re: Indiana OBR I have noticed a tremendous difference. Hunters now have to be picky about the buck they shoot. Where as before they could shoot a little one if they wanted then worry about getting a big one. Now the majority of them wait for the big ones and let the small ones pass.

Re: is cva muzzleloaders accurate I had a hunterbolt magnum and loved it. I shot my buck at 150 yds perfect. Use 100 grains of pyrodex powder with Hornaday speed loads, not sure on the grain. I only spent 120 on the gun and loved it. they are definitly worth the money.

Re: how long was your shortest hunt? The buck I have mounted was my shortest ever. I got to where my treestand is and there were deer in the field. Called him into range and about 2 minutes after I got up there he was on the ground.

Re: Deer Dander I use it and love it!! I sit on the ground against a tree, no blind, and have deer walk within 10 yds all the time.
