this is such a tease. som people have tagged out in 3 different states for turkeys and PA hasnt even opened yet. what a joke!! well i scouted a little but not as much as i wanted too. all finals and projects seem to be due this week and early next week. good luck to everyone...hopefully i will have a bird on the ground sat morning

i dont glass much but i use my bino's to check out suspicious objects. if im hunting open areas i do a lot more "glassing" but when hunting the thick timber i think i would wear down the focusing knob. i bought good glass for the special times when i want to know if its a mature doe or if that is a big buck way over on that hill side. i also plan on going out west at some point where they would deff come in handy!!

always prefer to stand while shooting. sometimes this doesnt always play out.

i just picked up a pair of Vortex Diamondbacks. they are amazing glass for the money. good luck with the new glass

doing some scouting on sunday so i will let you guys know how that goes. my cousin and uncle had some good action this morning for youth season. 1 real good tom came in close but they didnt conect on him. saw a few other toms but seemed henned up. i dont know what the check mark is all about. who knows? hope we get the points!!

im looking to do some wild hog hunting this summer. havent booked anything but we shall see when i graduate college. might not have time.
