Re: Mouth or call?? I have used mouth until I got an Away Outdoors easy grunter. The tube is always right there, and it is easy to grunt and then release.

Re: Sheds & snow I have found sheds on the snow, and after the thaw. I'll keep looking either way. A new shed will stand out in the snow and let you see it from a distance.

Re: OHIO SHEDS? Went out to scout, and coyote hunt. Saw lts of deer, no antlers, no sheds, no coyotes. There was quite a bit of snow cover in Ross County so I hope things improve on ice out.

Re: Questions about locating turkeys Get in the woods early, and walk, use locator calls, and listen. Preseason scouting is very helpful. Look for droppings to find roost locations, tracks, water and food sources, and you will have a god chance at finding them on opening day.
