Re: Southern Ohio sheds
Hunted all day saw alot of deer, but no sheds. I have bee hunting Ross County. I'll have to go North. I used to live on Porter Central.
I am in the market for a mechanical release to use while bowhunting. I picked one up by COBRA but it has a hair trigger so I am returning it. Any suggestions on a release that works well but is not so touchy? Thanks,
Re: Coyotes something to be scared of?
It always makes me nervous when it is dark, and I'm walking to a stand. It's reassuring when the sounds move away as I get closer. But sometimes in the dark it still sends shivers up a bow hunters spine.
Re: Beginning Coyote Hunter
Thanks for the advice. i have all the camo, scent spray, etc. from my years of bowhunting deer. I will check out your site, and look into the open reed calls. Thanks for the advice.
I have bow hunted for 30 years, but lately there have been an influx of coyotes in the hills of Ross County Ohio where I hunt. As a result, I am going to start hunting coyotes. Could anyone give me advice on good economical equipment to start out with. I have the necessary firearms and scopes, but have no experience on calls or decoys. Thanks a lot.
Re: Muzzleloader accessories
If it's anything like my other hunting equipment, I'll be filling up my tackle box in no time. I appreciate the advice on getting started, however.
Re: Looking for a climbing stand.
Go with the Sunnit Viper. The old style is just as good as the new and you can find it on sale for under $150.00. I have used mine 20-25 times each year for five years now and it is still like new. It weighs 19 lbs.
Since I'm not the only novice inline muzzleloader around here. I am interested in the necessary accessories needed for the muzzleloader either at home or in the field. Any voices of experience that can get me started in he new year.
Thanks and Happy New Year to all.
Re: NEED HELP WITH PICKING A ML
I did quite a bit of research last year when making my purchase. It came dowm to TC or Knight. The final factor was the excellent values for a Knight Disc Elite. Check them out.
Re: Knight 50 cal disc elite
I am going for a scale that way I can check the specifics myself on any bullets. etc.
Thanks for the links. I can't wait to get out and try out the elite.
