  1. Thanks im gonna look into it further, i have a regular sony handycam and put a few vids on youtube with it. I did that via the dump method over to the memory stick, gonna see about getting a firewire thing i guess
  2. My buddy just got a used cannon gl2 and got some nice footage of himself bagging a good gobbler the other day. I am wondering if someone can tell me what cords etc are needed to get the footage off the cam onto my laptop so we can get the footage online and possibly burn to a DVD. Thanks in advance, Doss I also tried a usb cord for another cam i have it fit the slot but wouldnt transfer video, though it would recognize the memory stick portion of the cam.
  3. Some bows may do different things but to me it all boils down to the shooter behind it. Anything can be accurate when in the right hands

  13. Here is the story and pics i will enter him soon i got all the required pics I took this bird on thursday morning and it is my first ever public land turkey and man was i excited. Someone beat me to my spot and i decided to try an area i had looked at previously just to see if i heard one. At 6:25 he rang out and i headed to him, he gobbled around 30 times on the limb and by 6:35 i had made my way to around 100 yards from his roost. At around 6:45 i gave two light tree yelps that yielded no response so after a few minutes i decided to do a flydown with my hat against my leg. I did that twice and before i could even tuck my hat in between my back and the tree i heard wings beating and hitting trees. i looked up to see this turkey on a bee line flying straight at me. He hit the ground at fifty yards and just strutted and gobbled left to right without coming any closer i lightly scratched in the leaves and he would look but wanted me to come to him. Well after 10 minutes or so of this four hens flewdown 25 yards to my left and they for once where my saving grace because slowly but surely the ol tom worked towards the hens as they scratched in the leaves. I had my hole picked out and as he entered it i called to stop him and let him have it. This was a monumental accomplishment to me because public land has been hard on me in the past. It was all over at 7:15 and i just sat down by him and took it all in. 10 3/4 beard, Spurs 1" and 3/4" weighed 21 pounds which is my heaviest turkey.[/size]

I ended up having a good year, my low end goal was 10 and my optimistic goal was twenty and on my last walk i picked up two more which gave me an even twenty. I may find more this is probably about it. Ready for next season now to see what these guys do 20 sheds 3 matched sets

    Target Panic ?

I have had it for years now and have just recently beat it out. I bought a new bow and said that i was gonna beat it so i started shooting around 100+ arrows a day totally focussing on form and aiming at that dot and holding it was frustrating for a while but after two weeks or so i was better and now im doing great i can hold on what i want to shoot take my team and release. Practice was the only way i beat it i have never shot much outside of hunting season but now that im shooting alot and started shooting 3d im very happy with myself
