the comment about how often the cows are in the field i think is the answer, see my neighbors have horses and i've seen deer within 30 yards of them, if you were riding or just walking along the side of the horse u could get 30 yards from deer and they dont seem to care, BUT he's also had the same horses in the same 40 acre pasture for a good 6 or 7 years. i went out to scout and see where the deer have been moving but i cant tell cause the cows have totally demolished all of the deer trails and creek crossings but they seem to have made a few trails down on our property closer to the house and i tihnk it's because theres no cattle on our property, also i found a patch of ground that was totally shredded down to dirt all from deer pawing it, but it was right at the base of a rub, the rub looked like it was made less than a month ago, are they still rubbing?!!? or is it just because they are trying to get rid of those antlers??

hey there everyone!! i was just wondering what yall do for deer hunting during the off season?? as in once your season ends what do you do to prepare for next season??

ok so i have about 1 week to down 2 antlerless deer with a rifle, where do they usually like to hangout this time of year in your opinion?? also where i'm hunting there's cattle, dont know if that makes a difference or not

ok guys, weird question i know haha but my dad has been thinkin all this time about the buck i shot during october here near roca NE and he thinks that it's a cross breed between a mule deer and whitetail. in my mind there's NO WAY POSSIBLE it was cause out of all the deer i've see and shot they all look like that and they are all 100% whitetail, AND we are in roca NE.... there's no mule deer around for a hundred miles! besides the fact that i dont think mule deer and whitetail even CAN breed .... what do u guys think? can mule deer and whitetail breed with eachother??

Hey everyone!! i was just wondering if any of you have noticed deer eating hedge apples u know the big green ones a little bigger than a softball? i came home last night and saw 4 does over by a bunch of hedge apples.... idk idf they were eating them or not but i was just wondering what you guys think? do they eat hedge apples??

hey everyone! sometime this week i wana put some tinks 69 doe in rut on a drag rag but i've never used a drag rag?? what do you guys usually do? how far from your stand do you start the drag? and also i've always wondered this, how long will the drag trail stay effective? and also how long does scent wicks stay effective?

hey everyone! i just bought a 1oz bottle of tinks doe-in-rut along with a couple scent wicks, just wondering what you guys would do with it and what u guys have seen with it? i've never used tinks before are they good? what's ur experiences with it?

haha well dads not much of a hunter himself, he's only been whitetail hunting once last year when i went with him, but i think he's gettin into it a li'l more after i shot 2 deer this year! haha i think he wants one of his own!!:D

if i see a scrape that i KNOW a dominate buck has been using i'll set up 30 or so yards from it and put some dominate buck urine in the scrape as well as a little bit of doe estrus and i set up and rattle. gets that big buck fired up. also when i'm not using scents look for rub lines and HUNT THEM!!!!! that REALLy paid off for me this year
