hey, i'm joel burham and i shot this buck on october 20th as you will see in one of my pictures my tag is water washed, it went through the washer before i could ever get a picture of it!! i did infact tag the deer as you will see around the base of the atntler the metal tag indicating that i did infact have it tagged i dont know if this is enough to inter it in the contest but i sure hope so!! also i already have a doe running in the contest and i'd like to switch to this buck, 8 point buck razortec_hunter Joel burham shot october 20th 2008 hoyt razortec 60# team #5 whackmasters

well ok shooting the buck in my avatar pic would beat it but that hasn't happened yet!! ha.

i thought it was a pretty nice first buck for me shooting does is still fun and all but NOTHING beats shootin this joker

because they were big clumps of dropping and not scattered pellets, haha i'm REALLY glad i hunted that rub line i shot a HUGE 8 point last night that weighs in over 200 pounds!!!!

thanks guys! thing that's cool about him is i patterned him, i felt so good because i'd actually done the work for it!! i was climbing out of the stand and i'd already taken my harness off and i was lowering my bow and i saw him standing there at 20 yards, my heart started pounding a million beats per second and i brought my bow back as quick as possible nocked and arrow and let her fly, he ran 5 yards into the culvert and that's where i found him an hour later

hey yall!! i went out and hunted a rub line that i'd seen earlier this morning and come around 6:45 i shot this here buck at 15 yards!!!!!!!!!! we never got it weighed but we judged it over 200 pounds, how much does it look like it weight to you guys???? I"M TAGGED OUT!!!! i just shot a HUGE bodied 8 point that'd probably go uper 130's this thing weights atleast 220-250 it's HUGE!!!

i was scouting today and found atleast 45 rubs along a trail that goes right past one of the stands i haven't bothered to hunt this season. i'm goin in tonight, hopefully one of those bruisers will walk down the trail

ok so i was out hunting this morning and didn't see one deer. i started to wonder where all the bucks were so i walked up the tree line to another one of my stands, inbetween 10 and 100 yards of my stand in 2 different directions are about 15 scrapes!! and down one edge of the cornfield theres a slightly used trail with buck dropping along it with ATLEAST 30-45 rubs along 100 yards of the trail!! i would like to know how any of you guys hunt rub lines?? any tips or trick to rub lines??

is it too early to rattle? now that i got my doe down i'm goin after some bone just wandering if it's too early to get the old rattling horns out??

hey yall!! i went out this morning and got in stand around 6:45 round' about 7:15 comes a decent 3x3 buck and he walks 5 yards under my stand,..... knowing what kinda of deer i'd been seeing i decided to pass. 7:45 i hear something to my left, there's a doe standing 25 yards off in the brush, i didn't know if she was gonna come in so i blew my grunt call and she picks a trail leading 15 yards infront of me, i drew and shot her at 15 yards with a PERFECT passthrough right behind the shoulder!!, she runs 10 yards and i watch her fall from the stand!!!! i'm really proud of this deer she may be small but i wanted some jerky :D :D :D
