i'm in ohio.... i have been glassing this deer about 3 to 4 times a week and he is still holding the same pattern we had some rain the other day and i got a stand put up for him. there wern't very many good trees to put one in but i finally picked one about 10 yards of the trail but i'm able to get about 30' up so i should be ok

glad to see you guys check in good luck with your seasons as far as names go i was thinking of something general so it would cover how everyone hunts i myself usually only hunt with a bow. but i know not everyone does so i was thinking of something like. whitetail assassins or buck busters something along those lines but i'm open to anything i'm just trying to get the ball rollin'

thanks for the idea's of what he'll score i was hoping 160 he is on a very regular pattern so i am hoping to put some time on stand opening weekend he usually has been coming to the cam at least 2 times a day and a lot of pics are during shooting hours. i will have to see him in person before i decide if i should shoot him or not he is lacking spread but makes up for it with the long main beams

yes and no for me i get 4 tags a year 3 of them are used for doe's and i save the last one for a big buck and usually mature and rack size goes hand in hand but not always my only exeption is if it is an odd ball rack with a lot of character then i will take him out. the goals i set are i won't shoot any deer under 140 from the beginning of season through the rut after the rut i lower my standards to nothing smaller than a p&y buck
