  1. i'm looking for a couple used trail cam's to put up this year i don't want anything real pricey because of fear of them being stolen and alot of the retailers around here aren't stocking them yet and i want to get set up early pm me with any offers please
  2. have you looked into a 243 it's a nice middle of the road gun? as far as the .17 it will work i have shot plenty with mine the question is if you want to recover them or not if so you need to shoot them in the head however i was just trying to get rid of them so i would just shoot them in the body but with no blood trail and no knockdown power they were tough to recover but we would see them here and there through out the woods it is plenty powerfull enough to kill them just not recover them
  3. they are nice but get way to much hype imo the energy you loose to open them and the drag they have once they open stick with a good muzzy or better yet try the gold tip broadheads they are the toughest head i have ever shot
  4. this is a 3 yr. old that some ppl raise around my house he's gonna be huge

  6. i was wondering if any of you had any ideas for a good 3d bow and what would be a good set up? i haven't even tried 3d shooting i have bow hunted alot but i was looking into shooting during the summer please don't say hoyt or matthews i don't like the feel of the hoyt and the matthews are to pricey for me to buy just to see if i like 3d shooting or not i shoot a browning illusion for hunting
  7. i bought my son a browning micro adrenaline when he turned 9 and it has a big adjustment for weight and draw length and no need for a bow press he shoots it great i even borrowed it last year just to see how it would work at ohio's minumum of 40# and the doe didn't go 50 yards i was impressed
  8. sounds good the last weekend of bow season i was out there and counted 78 of them that came out of the big crp field and walked about 20 yards from me to roost. and i have been getting alot of them on my trail cam while i'm waiting for the bucks to drop so i can go get some horns
  9. i have a remington 20 ga. choke tube for sale that has only had about 10 shots through it i belive it is an extra full i will check to make sure i will sell it for $13 tyd money orders only

  11. have you ever looked at the hostage rest? it is not a drop away but it is a great rest i was always having problems with my arrows falling out of the drop away rest and i hated what the w/b did to my fletchings just something to look at before you pick one
  12. i still have 2 days of muzzleloader season left and a month of bow season i will put one with horns down i have been passing on a lot of small bucks but if it gets close to the end i will put one of them down i really liked being a part of this and i will join again next season

  15. tnight is the last night before the lead starts flying sat. is the opener for youth week. so hopefully i'll connect tonight the wind is really blowing though making it a wind chill of 14 out but i sat last night and seen 31 so just 1 good buck will be good enough for me tonight.
  16. here is a pic. of a good buck that was hit by a car while trying to rush to my stand after a good series of grunting and rattling lol i wish here is his 07 sheds the reason for the bubble is because the guy holding the sheds is amish
  17. my wife finally connected on her first bow buck. i have been seeing this buck alot but he was just to small for me to shoot.but he needed to be taken out of the herd because we aged him a 3 1/2 but he's only a 5 point with some wierd genetics we have 3 or 4 funky racked bucks on one of our property's and this is one of them.she made a great shot on him he was 15 yds. away quartering towards her she blew straight through the shoulder the heart and one lung. close up pic.
  18. lol fly.i'm still trying to get my buck before gun season but we'll see i have been passing alot of bucks so hopefully it will pay off. my wife did get a funky looking 5 point the other day he needed to be taken out he was a 3 1/2 yr. old with wierd geneticsso i'm glad he's gone but i wasn't going to use my buck tag on him.i'll post some pics later. good luck this weekend everyone.
  19. it worked i let it sit for about 10 hours then went out to mess with it again and to hopefully fix it so i could hunt in the morning and i started the truck and hit the button and it turned off so needless to say i won't be using my 4 wheel drive anymore unless it's a must.. thanks again for all the info
  20. thanks for all the help everyone.it's still stuck but i'm working on it i figured since it is stuck in 4 wheel low range it has to be in the transfer case. i'm going to do some more tinkering around with it then try and check the switch somehow
  21. i tried nuetral that's the only way my truck will go in or out of 4 wheel drive
  22. i have a 1988 ford ranger xlt 4x4 with the touch drive 4 wheel drive. well i went into the field with it and when i tried to put it back in 2 wheel drive it wouldn't disengauge. so now my hunting truck is stuck in 4x4 low range. so far i have tried driving around the house in reverse with no luck. then i tried disconnecting the battery. then i tried pounding on the cylinnoid all with no luck any ideas of how to get it out of 4 wheel drive would be great thanks in advance
