Sluggunner I picked mine because My weapon of choice for deer hunting will always be my Browning A-Bolt Slug gun. I love how accurate it is, and I especially like how powerful it is and the fact that it puts deer down FAST so I never have to do any tracking. It is nice to see them go down where you hit them or only a few feet away.

Good stuff. I tried that one they make that screws into a tree and the deer seemed to love it.

Man Tominator, you are one tough bird!!! You have been through a LOT!! You have had enough surgeries to spread up among a dozen people. Hang in there pal, hopefully you will never ever need to go under the knife again.

We will never know The countless many ways our savior watches out for us each day. That is why we should thank him at least once a day minimum, for all of the times he bailed us out without us even knowing it.

Both are cool The first one is my favorite.

This is related to my earlier post about the most surgeries. I have never broken any bones in 46 years of life..."Knock on wood," Who here has broken the most bones? Any of you ever have one of those ugly compound fractures? Anyone ever break more than one bone in a single incident? I guess I am lucky as I sure did not lead a life of caution as a young boy, climbing trees, jumping dirt bikes, skateboarding etc... Had plenty of opportunities, but never broke anything. :crutch:

Was talking with some co-workers and realized just how luck I am as I am 46 years old and in my entire life I have only been opperated on two times and both were minor procedures and both were done with a local so I have never been put to sleep. Both were elective. I was wondering who here has gone under the knife the most times. In order to count they had to have cut you to the point where stiches were required to close up the wound. Who on here has the record for the most surgeries, and everything and anything counts as long as it was performed by a doctor.

Car keys down the storm sewer grate. I hate parking where my drivers side door is next to those storm sewer grates built into the curbs. I'm always thinking I'm going to reach into my pocket to get my keys or be putting them in my pocket and I will drop them and they will go into the sewer.

Sweet work! I like them all, kind of hard to pick a favorite as they are all really done well. I always wanted to try doing a rabbit, I heard their skins tear really easy making them very difficult to mount. Is that true? Also how hard was it to do the ears on the rabbit, did you use the bondo method?

Although there are few things in life that are more fun done alone than in the company of others, I was thinking of a few that are definitely much more enjoyable when done alone. Here is my list, what is yours: 1.) Surfing the is site or any internet site. I hate people peeking over my shoulder, asking questions like, "When is it my turn?" or "click on this or click on that." It drives me nuts. 2.) Playing a video game, I hate the kind where you are playing against someone else. 3.) Deer hunting. Since I hunt from a stand and do not do drives, I like to go it alone so I don't have to worry that someone else is cold or bored or whatever. I like knowing I can stay as long or as short as I want, and if the hunt gets messed up it is my own fault and not due to someone else making noise or stinking up the place etc... 4.) Shopping, on the rare occasions when I do go out to buy something, I would rather go it alone. Especially if I am looking at new cars & trucks.

I'm banning you Coles... Because I have never shot a buck as big as the one you shot in your signature photo.

I don't know either. So don't feel stupid.

New career for you Sounds like you have mastered the art of falling down without getting hurt. Maybe you should look into becoming a stunt woman. LOL!! By the way, I'm glad you are OK!

Good story, well crafted. Did the English teacher give you an "F" and call you a Bambi killer? So many teachers now days are tree hugging liberals preaching nonsense like global warming and animal rights that they will fail any kid that even brings up the topic of hunting, unless it is a paper to make fun of or discredit hunters. Good job on the paper.

Good luck to you. I hope they get you up to 100% right away and back out in the woods soon.

Congratulations. Those are some beautiful kids you have there. You are so blessed. I hope for you he is the kind of baby that sleeps through the night right from the start, learns to talk early and picks up potty training quicker than a jack rabbit then you will be "In the chips." Even if he doesn't, you are a very lucky guy in every aspect as long as he is healthy.

Prayre just sent. For comfort for your family and peace for him.

Looks way better Those stock wheels and tires are way way way too tiny for a truck that size. I my opinion a truck that big should come stock with 31 inch tires and have the proper gear ratios to handle the size and weight of the extra rubber and steel to mount tires that big.

Not me. I'll take my chances as I almost never get sick.

Holy S*** I thought the same thing, what a waste of a magnificant animal that would be if a car takes him out and splatters him all over the highway and breaks his rack into little pieces.

Sad, really sad. There are lots of people like that out there and you want to know what the really scary thing is? They VOTE while most normal people sit home.

Can't put a value on human life. So my opinion is why bother trying. It doesn't matter if the judgement is $1000,000 or 20 Million dollars, it does not bring the dead person back to life. That being said I am under the opinion that some of these huge multi million dollar settlemants are based more on greed by the survivors than them trying to be compensated fairly for the loss of a loved one since there is no amount of money that can replace that loss. Kind of hard to put into words but to me it would almost be like someone asking you , "Hey can I kill your loved one for $100,000, how about $500,0000 how about 500 Million?" I mean would you ever say "Yes" It wouldn't matter what price they offered you would still rather have that person in your life as long as you can no matter how much money someone offered to you. So these huge settlements are really fruitless and serve no purpose since they do not bring true justice.
