Where would you rather put a tree stand? By a food plot or on the edge of a corn field or in the middle??????????

Ive been lookin at some summit treestands. i dont know which one to use tho.

Well where im going to put my stand is off of the main deer trail. on one side ive got a corn field then yo uenter the woods adout 15 yards and you hit a logging trail. then you go up a slight hill and hit the clearing that my plot is goin to be in and i plan to hunt the field and the plot. Weve got another guy about 30 yards from the plot too where he has a stand and i might ask him what he has in mind to put there.

i like the coon idea. But what id do is on the final day put some doe in heat urine in or on her vehicle.LOL!!!! When i get out of high school i want to go to West Point and then join the Marines!!!!!

I used to live there when i was six then i moved. Yeah there are some big brusers out there!!!!!!!! there are also alot of turkeys too. they gobel for hours. The deer out there are awesome to hunt cuz i jus go back by a spring on my grandpas land and sit for about 30min and then come to the house with a deer!!!!

I normally use 150 grain remington (not core lock) soft tips. But I ocassionally use a 130 grain not soft tips from remington.

most years i dont even use a ground blide i just set up in some brush and sit in my lawn chair and wait untill i see something. that work for me here in Wisconsin.

wel i dont even know the answer for that because i do the same things with my mouth calls only i just run them under water.

try the logging trails early in the morning when its cooler out then as the day moves on try the pit when its warmer out. thats what i would do.

where i hunt turkeys i see them all year but when it came to my season i herd nothig. i got a hen out of her roost but that was it. later in the season about the 3 to the 4th season here in wisconsin i herd more and more gobbles and it was rainy both weeks. and gettin neer the 5th and 6th seasons they usually tend to be hened up but will still be out in the rain. if you ask me i would try a spot and sit there during the middle of the whole season on a wet day with some decoys set up and just start calling you might get lucky and get one who knows.

i want one that is quiet and comfortable and that will last me a while

Whitehall is in between Lacrosse and Eau Clare wisconsin in trempealeu county. Its also about a 20 to 25 minute drive from Black River Falls which is in Jackson county.

wel i want a decent ladder stand. one that will last a few years. it needs to be quiet and comfortable.
