Doing some more reading on Midway....I wouldn't expect to hear from Larry.

This is my last day on night shift, will get off around 2am. The wife and the kids are going shopping for school clothes tomorrow morning and I'm going to get some much needed rest.....this night shift has my clock all screwed up. Whenever I decide to roll my lard butt out of the bed I'm going to do some odds and ends around the house then meet my wife and kids at a friends house tomorrow evening for the Cowboys game.
Forget talking with a manager.....go higher up the chain. Talk with someone at the corporate level about the issues you are having and the inconvenience their products failure is causing you. Don't hang the phone up until they agree to have a call tag for pickup at my front door and waive the return shipping fee.
Funny how life changes things when you think you have it all planned out. Within the last month we have taken in our nephew on a kinship placement by CPS. We had him and his two sisters for almost the whole year 2016. They all have been taken from their father, the girls are with his mother and the boy was with a family friend for a while but wanted to move in with us. He is 14, loves to fish but hasn't had too much hunting experience. Looks like I'll be spending a little more money on some draw hunts....and I'm totally fine with that!
Got to love technology.....it's great when it works and sucks when it doesn't. We experienced a couple of days with cell phone towers being down last week. I laughed at all the people freaking out because they couldn't have their phones stuck in their faces. Reminds me of this quote: "Technology is a useful servant but a dangerous master." - Christian Lous Lange
Got 99% of the honey-do's completed, then the rain came in yesterday and put a damper on that.....darn the luck......but the yard looks nice again and the porch is ready for our football get together's this fall.
That small sentence is what it's all about. There are far too many anti's out there trying to put a stop to hunting for me to worry about how my fellow outdoorsmen choose to spend their time and money in the woods.
Heading up to Pittsburg, TX today around 3pm to visit my wife's grandfather. We have a small cabin booked on Lake Bob Sandlin and will spend the weekend there. There's a slew of us headed up there so it should be a great time with family.
Setting my cameras out this coming weekend. Had one shooter 10 point that I’m certain made it last year and a few borderline bucks that I’m anxious to see what they put on this year. I’ll post pics when I get them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last day of the evening shift today, hope to be off by midnight. Not much planned this weekend......might make a run to the river tomorrow afternoon and get neck deep for a bit. Other than that, gonna soak up as much AC as I can.
Didn't hit a lick for most of yesterday. It rained off and on for most part of the day so we stayed inside and piddled around. Around 4pm we headed down to a friends house in Kirbyville for family game night and played board games til almost 10pm.
Had him as a friend on Facebook but somehow he no longer is. Either I inadvertently removed him or he removed me, same with Tom.......dunno.
Kyle is also active on Facebook.
Facebook is really no different than any other forum. You control what you see and who you are "friends" with. I have a crap ton of people hidden so I don't see their posts on there and mainly view hunting, fishing and news related news feeds.
The annual "What happened to RT forums" thread. I've been guilty of posting one too LOL...
Why has it gone dead? That answer is the same as the one for the tootsie pop......the world may never know!!!!
