While snooping around our new (to us) house, we found some old local newspapers, WWII time period, some before we got involved (Very cool to see!) and also a comic book. The comic book says it was printed in 1946 and is a Target brand comic. It has a drawing of a Red Cross nurse and a soldier helping a wounded soldier to her. Also on the front is a banner encouraging people to donate blood. I will try and get a picture of it up, but does anybody have any idea of the value of something like that?? The newspapers probably arent worth much but I plan on framing some of the articles and decorating with them.

The refs in that game were bad all game. Leighton gave up a few that he really had no reason not to stop during the finals. Congrats to the Blackhawks! I was pulling for the Flyers, but the 'Hawks earned it!!

This may have been talked about already but.... As of July 5th this year, a statewide smoking ban is going into effect here in WI. It will make it illegal to smoke in bars/taverns, as well as some other restrictions. While I (as a non smoker) love the idea of not waking up with a sore throat and smelling like a ashtray after a nite out, I think it is complete B.S. that tavern owners are having this law forced upon them!!! What are your thoughts on this..??

These people were committing forgery and other shenanigans using the identities of our local fallen heroes.....its time for a tall tree and 3 short ropes if you ask me!!!!!:angry:
