I use Easton Epics and love them.

Wanted to get your guys opinion on this. Right now I am shooting a Easton Epic 340 with 100 gr. Montecs, with 4 inch feathers. Saw the Nocked and Loaded dvd and T-Bone talked alot about kinetic energy and I was wanting to see if you guys think that I have enough or do you think that I need more. I can change to a 125 gr. Montec which would be cheaper than getting new arrows, but I wanted your guys opinion. I'm shooting a Guardian at 70 lbs. Thanks! James W. www.ronpaul2008.com

I'm new to duck hunting and I wanted to get some waders for next season. I'm looking at either the cabelas brand or lacrosse. Wanting to get your guys opinion. I plan on getting something that has 5 mm neoprene and at 1200 grams of thinsulate. I plan on being in the $180-$200 range so let me know what you guys think. Or if you guys have something else that you recommend let me know. Thanks. James W. www.ronpaul2008.com

Sounds like a sweet set up. Our cabin is a new double wide trailer, but we still call it a cabin. It is about 45 minutes from the house and it is a blast to go to. James W. I Cor 16:13

That what it appears to be in the picture. Check it out on his blog. It is a few stories down but it is the one I believe that is titled "locked up part 2". It doesn't show all of the bow, but it does show split limbs and that center pivot. Guess we will have to wait and see for sure when Monster Bucks comes out! James W. Sorry to hear about that man. That is really hard. I hate poachers, they are good for nothing. They make ethical hunters look bad and are reckless and irresponsible. My fiancee's cousin(who is married to the owner of the archery shop in town and yes, that is a nice connection to have:D) shoots a Bowtech and she loves it. I believe the bow is called the "Equalizer". It is designed for people with smaller body frames. Draw weight goes from 29-40-50-60 lbs. Check it out at www.bowtecharchery.com James W. Very well done Steve, the mouse pad is the easiest way to put them on. I just started putting my own wraps and fletching my arrows this year and I find it extremely addicting. I love seeing wraps on arrows...I think it trims them out well. Also I think that it is easier to refletch them. When I tried to refletch an arrow that didn't have a wrap I found myself cutting into my arrow alittle, but with the wrap it is easy to take them off. I have heard to put it under hot water and it loosens the glue on the warp but it works good till you get to the fletching and then it is harder. That is when I get a utility knife and stick one of those hawk-bill blades in it (any hardware store) and it works great! 8ptbuckpa has got me wantin to make some custom wraps. Right now I got the orange Team Realtree ones on with one orange and two white feathers.

Do you guys think that putting pieces of charcol in the rubbermaid box would help or do you think that it would affect the smell? Also I looked at a rubbermaid box at Home Depot and the handles have little small vents in them...do you think that would let to much scent in or would it be good to have alittle air flow? Thanks for all the help guys! James W. www.ronpaul2008.com

What camera arm are you using? What video camera are you using? Congrats on the slick! James W. www.ronpaul2008.com

Thanks for the advice guys!

Wanting to ask you guys what you think would be the best thing to do. I have been keeping my clothes in a big zip lock bag that I got in a scent elimination kit, but it now has holes in it and the zip lock isn't locking. I was thinking about getting one of those plastic tubs that Bass Pro sells that has a Scent-Lok charcol liner in it. I also thought about getting a plastic Rubbermaid tub from Wal-Mart. The Scent-Lok tub is $60 but I could probably get the one from wal-mart for like less than $20. Just curious to see if any of you guys have one or what you think is the best option. Thanks! Well this past Friday(21st) I pulled back on a doe that I ranged at 40 yds. I watched the arrow sail over her back 2-3 inches. Man I was bummed. It would have been my first ever bow kill. We really haven't seen any shooter bucks. The land owner had a relative up and they shot a nice 9 that they said scored about 120. In south Georgia that is nice. The guest also saw a nice 8 and 10. The land owner and I are the ones who hunt it 95% of the time and we haven't seen any shooters all year. Really haven't seen much rut activity. We are definitly going to have to shoot some does next year! James www.ronpaul2008.com

I'm wanting to make my own wind checker. I was going to get a small little bottle, like an eye drop bottle and but a powder in it to check the wind. I was wanting to know what you guys recommended to put in the bottle. I seem to remember someone saying that baking soda would work. Not sure where I heard this and if it even pertains to deer hunting, but that is what keeps popping into my head. Thanks :DMERRY CHRISTMAS:D:D James W. www.ronpaul2008.com

Wanted to throw this out here to you guys. When sitting all day do think that is best to sit in the same stand all day or switch stands? I realize if the wind shifts it is better to move, but what do you think? I hunt in S. Georgia and the rut is just starting to kick in. Any suggestions or comments would be welcomed. Good luck to whoever is still trying to fill their tag (me included) and congrats to those who have filled it! :DMERRY CHRISTMAS:D:D James www.ronpaul2008.com

I had a friend that accidently dry fired his Bowtech Alligence and it bent the cams all up and he had to get new cams from the factory and have them installed. Im pretty sure it was fine after that. How do you like your Guardian? I bought one this year and I love it. Check out the new finish on the 08 Bowtech bows. They call it "Invelvet". It is sweet!!!:D It is supposed to be super tough, alot less cold when you touch it, and it has a "soft" feeling to it.

Congrats on the bucks! What kinda of camera are you guys using? Also how much is a camera like that? I have been told something like that is in the thousands. My cousin does alot of filming for Southern Sportsman TV and they use alot of handheld digital cameras. I bought a digital one this year to film with, but just curious to know what you guys are using. Also are you guys taking turns filming each other or are you recording yourself? Thanks! James

While checking out the Realtree website stubbled upon this gear review for the Guardian. I tried to copy it but it didn't work. Anyways look at Realtree's home page and scroll down till you see "Gear Guide"...it's in there. Hope this helps. James Ps. 1:1 www.ronpaul2008.com

I got the Guardian this year and one of the main selling points was the quietness. Something about the center pivot design reduces tension which in turn reduces noise when shooting. I also think it is very smooth on the draw. I can get some more info for you from the local archery shop. Personal opinion is that I love mine...I have not shot anything but that is not the bow's fault. Also I heard the new Guardian (2008) is even better than this one, and also the new 101st Airborne (also Bowtech) is supposed to be pretty sweet too.
