well being a military man i will say this. i never really liked bush but i never hated him either i opinon is and could very well be wrong is that with all the things that we going wrong in the world( i don't need to go through them ) that with all he did i think that he made them worse in a way and i don't think that the next pres. can fix it. like i said i could be wrong

not really a fan of plasma tvs but every plasma i ever seen was HD i mean if you are gonna pay the money for the plasma why not get one in HD

my bro in law got himself a hoyt extreme last year at the flea market for 50 bucks a great deal i think. but the draw is way to long for him the bow string is drawing way behind his ear at least an inch and a half (no joke) if anyone knows how to set the draw length down please let me know.

need ideas for a decent bow for my wife guys she won't leave me alone until i get her one, shes about 5'8 and pretty strong if say so myself any ideas?

i would just start at the basics. stance draw anchor points, repetition. I would also get a kisser button to further fortify the anchor point (the whole short term memory thing) and maybe it will be easier teaching your cousin how to shoot than it was teaching my cousin (got a lot of gray hairs from it)

gots a question my hunting land isn't the biggest on earth maybe 20 acres, and i had planned to put out a couple small food plots near a couple stands i have hung. Now i kinda know the basics of food plots (clearing the area and stuff) but does anyone know any cost efficent ways to set up a couple small food plots.

if yall have read any of my previous posts yall should know that i just got a new browning myst last week end. first off, i love the bow shoots pretty fast hits really hard i was shocked to be getting pass throughs at 55 yards, go figure. well i was breaking in the bow today shot about 40 times (i'll pay for it tommarow) i noticed that something was loose on the upper cam i don't know what the piece is called but it wasn't the actuall cam i think it is the piece that adjusts the draw length. well i tightened the screws up and i noticed that the bow making not a loud noise but it is noticable and if i notice it then i know a deer will even if i can simply destroy a target at 55 yards (not bragging) is this just noise that is normal with new bows or something else

heck i looked for the smallest reason to but a new bow, and i did, and now i'm happier:D:D:D

well i was snoopin around the net lookin for for some bow hunting videos and i came across a video of a moose hunt don't know where or when but thats not the point its what was siad about the video is what made me hoppin mad. it seemed that everyone was talkin like hunters were the worse people on earth and that we should be goin to the grocery store insted of the woods and all kinds of other mean things. now maybe i am just thinkin too hard about it, but when people who haven't done it can't bash it like they were and i respect that everyone has their own opinon about whatever. if any one whats to read that crap and sound off on it can do so. go to www.break.com searh for video "how to piss a moose off"

i don't have a problem with an xbow i mean i own one but i don't hunt with it (mainly cause i'm still not good enough to hunt it), but here in ky we do have an xbow season during the archary season, the only real problem i got with the xbow are the people who think that the xbow is a long range weapon and think that they can get a kill at 60+ yards (not saying that it can happen just never seen it happen) case in point friend of mine bought an xbow last year and practiced with it alot during the summer and got decent with it, well we wnt to hunting in the xbow season and he got a good look at a doe but when he shot the doe (which was a long shot not sure about exact distance but it was well out of normal bow range) he hit a limb witch deflectef the arrow and hit her in the neck paralizing her. anyhow i tell that to say that people who think that an xbow will act like a rifle need to be informed otherwise.

well from reading your posts my thought is that NY's hunting seasons is screwy to me cause here in KY our bowhunting season opens either the 1st or 6th of september and is open until january 19th or 21st (depending on the year). and something else, does other states any one hunts make them buy a new permit for every season that they hunt.

ok well i just picked up a faster bow over the weekend. so pretty much a faster shooting bow will be almost like shooting on level ground if i read your post correctly. just a couple inches differnce, cause my old bow arced something horrible

yeha i was having that same problem with my biscuit it was becaise fletching was hitting the stiffer black wiskers on the bottom and messing them up making them loop on the long shots but hey i did not know better, but now i do and thats what counts in my book. and on the bright side it gives him a reason to get a new toy lol!!!
