  1. No season "yet" for Moose. Every time they find one where it doesnt belong they move it to the remote sections. Guess what is happening..mating..LOL

  6. Season here starts one week from Monday. Illinois hunt is two weeks from Thursday. Can't wait. Trail camera has two weeks of filming on it.. pulling card tomorrow. Should be some interesting pics..
  7. I put up my umbrella and hunt.. keeps me dry. I've seen a lot of deer in the rain.
  8. "Anniversary weekend" Just got back from spending Friday Shopping at Bass Pro, Rentham outlets, dinner, Redsox Game, spend the night in Boston. Had a great time...

  12. My wife made venison stew for our anniversary dinner... home made rolls..what more can I ask for?? It was awesome. She is getting me ready for my Illinois hunt.

  20. I bring a lot of stuff with me.. last year I shot a 7-pointer after finishing a hot cup of coffee.. It was 10-deg with wind gusts 10-30 mph. Hunting dark to dark without moving from stand requires a lot of fuel to keep your mind sharp. Morning and evening hunts are low key.
