  1. I have a 50" sane plasma in the living room and am going on my fourth year with it. I had not had the first problem out of it and the picture is as good as the day I bought it. Got it at wal mart and gave like 1400$ for it,I think they have them for around 800$ now. I bought a sanyo LCD for my bedroom that's like 36" and like it also. As mentioned above, the plasma puts off a great amount of heat and I think I read some where that they use alot more electricity than the LCD do.
  2. I swear by my Mathews arrow web quiver,if I didn't have it I would have a softlok one.
  3. Thanks guys, the he ire bullet is the way I was thinking of going. Gonna try and find some and get the gun tested, thanks again.
  4. Ok guys,i bought a new 22-250 and am looking for ammo options. this is a caliber i have never had anything to do with let alone shot. I am going to be looking for a cartridge my son and me can use for deer hunting. The question is,should I go with a lighter and faster bullet or get the heaviest one I can find for this gun. I know the heavier the better knockdown and the lighter the faster. I seen the new superformance ammo from hornady says 4000 feet per second in a 50 grain bullet but i found some at sportsmans warehouse that were i think 64 grains. What are some of your thought on this,I know some of you have shot these calibers befor.

  6. I don't know why this is in this room but it is realy good info, thanks for posting.
  7. I pass up smaller bucks to wait for a bigger one unless there is something special about the buck or my freezer is low and it's late in the season. I'm not to ashamed to shoot a spike or small buck, whatever it takes to get the meat in the freezer. I have shot alot of small bucks when I was younger, now I just shoot them for the above reasons.
  8. Get my kids more involved in hunting, kill at least 4 deer for the freezer and summer sausage. I have been out of deer meat since march, and I'm not liking it. Just fo out and enjoy the beuty mother nature gives us and have fun while doing it.
  9. Good catch, could have put an eye out. Hope you get back to shooting soon, and do you have pics of the new bow?
  10. Thinking about some beer brats and steaks. Of course all the fixings will have to be with them
  11. http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii230/heatherjbrown2/9fcefe02.jpg[/img]"]http:// I picked this up at the local gun shop today. I was wanting one in a 308 but when I went in all they had was this one in 22-250. I had my 8 year old with me and let him hold it up and see if it would fit him,he could reach the trigger. The owner told me he could order me a 308 and have it there in a couple weeks,I left and thought about it for a while. I called another store and they had them in stock for 30$ more and wouldn't match the price. I decided to go and get the 22-250 because I thought the 308 may be a little to much for my boy. I love the way this gun feels and am glad to get back to single shots. If I can hide it from the wife I may still get the 308, not bad for a 250$ gun.
  12. I'm hopping to have some new rifle pics before long to share with you guys.

So,tonight I cooked two of his t bones over charcoal. I lightly sprinkled black pepper and garlic powder On them to keep it simple and leave the taste of fresh beef there. With them I had onions, green peppers and mushrooms on skewers cooked on the grill. Topped it off with a baked tater with butter and sour cream and a good old can of bushes burbon grilling beans. I am so stuffed right now I can't hardly move,I put in a before grill and on grill pic, with the plated pic to fallow.
  15. http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii230/heatherjbrown2/ad8dc588.jpg[/img]"]http:// I surprised the kids tonight with a trip to the drive in to see the new cars movie and the green lantern movie. Its a perfect night for it,a little cool but blankets and pillows in the back of the Durango for the wife and kids makes it manageable. Anyone else still go to a good old fashioned drive in movie?
  16. Thanks for the heads up,I just downloaded it for free on my I phone.
  17. I haven't never realy notices it with my g5 peep. I may have to check it out,but I guess if I haven't noticed it, it isn't a problem.
  18. Women are hard headed.
  19. Sorry guys, no pics of it done. I took the foil off and it was so most and tender it fell apart.
  20. http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii230/heatherjbrown2/aa4375ab.jpg[/img]"]http://. I figured since this was my last night off before going back to work, and I had to sit up all night to sleep tomarrow for night shift,I would cook something. I had a whole chicken in the freezer so I thawed it out while me and the family was at the lake today. I had a little wood outback and decided to smoke a beercan chicken. I fired up the smoker with some mulberry, apple and black walnut and brought up to temp, about 250 - 300deg. I spiced up the bird and got ready for the grill,I went to place it on the grill and the lid wouldn't shut for the bird was to tall. I ended up removing the top rack and putting it on the lower rack wrapped in foil. This is where I'm at now and will get another pic when removing the foil to get a good smoke on it. O yeh, the spicy came from the seasoning I put on it,it is kinda spicy.

    Movies

Don't go to the movies,I have ben watching lots of them on net flix tho.
  22. I watched a few minutes of it at the inlays house,I liked the line about wd40 and a craftsman wrench. He sure is true to his country and doesn't care who knows,Toby for president.
  23. I know this should prolly be in the gun rooms but thought it would get more traffic here, move if necessary. I am thinking about selling or tradeing my benelli supernova with steady grip stock. It is like new and not had a full box of shells shot through it,has three factory chokes, sling and a primos jelly head choke with it. I was wondering if someone new the going rate for a used gun in like new shape as mine is.
