  1. Have watched those movies since I was a kid. My dad had to have the soundtrack on his phone as a ringtone (back when that was the thing to do).
  2. Remember how Chris always said the biggest deer were in his neck of the woods and that out of state hunters should go to his home town to hunt. LOL I'm on FB, but still check in here at RT.
  3. Yep -I'll be turkey hunting and headed to Manitoba to hunt black bear. Can't wait!
  4. I just boosted your rep (+1)

    Texas bound

Good luck! I'm afraid I'm not help when it comes to those states.
  6. Looks like we were a tine short of first. LOL Been a great season and I have enjoyed sharing it with all of you. Hope 2018 is great year for everyone.

    Double Pedestal Mount

It's a tough call when you only have so much room (and a wife) LOL. I've still got to boil my 2017 buck as it's still in my deep freeze. Will do a Euro probably next month
  10. I hope you never separate!

Thanks everyone. Picked it up tonight.

    Double Pedestal Mount

The IL buck was by far the ugliest I have ever taken and while I've yet to see it in person the pic of the mount makes it look bigger and prettier. Yes, lets see it.

    Double Pedestal Mount

Thanks and I can't wait to see it Al
  14. I will pick these up later this week from my taxidermist. These were my bucks from 2016. The top one is my Kentucky buck and the bottom is my IL buck. The taxidermist really hit the mark with what I was looking for.
  15. Not sure how but I missed this. Congratulations William!
  16. Nice Pat! I shot a yote with the bow earlier this season and blood trailed it for a couple hundred yards. Never found it though.
  17. Thanks Ruth. It is an amazing hunting area. It's a public ground peninsula consisting of about 1000 acres. The ILDNR manage it for stocked pheasant hunting as well as deer during the archery season. This year was the second year they opened it for the 3 day smokepole season. The place is over-run with deer. It's common to see 20-40 deer during an evening hunt given you're in a tree stand and can see a large area. Getting those deer within 50 yards can be a challenge though because there are so many and can appear from any direction thus catching your scent and sounding the alarm.
  18. coalminer89 - I doubt a game from 2005 would work on any current computer. This thread you pulled up is over a decade old! LOL
  19. Your welcome Ross - see my post titled Merry Christmas to see what I got!

    Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone at RT. I just had to share what Santa (Ross - Hammer Forged) placed under my tree! I feel very privledged to hold such a fine piece of craftsmanship!
  21. Congratulations Team 1! Now I have to go back out in the cold and look for a ten pointer. LOL Merry Christmas to you all.
  22. Hope you are able to get her on that buck!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

    Merry Christmas Buckee!
  24. Nothing for the wall but plenty of venison this year with an early October 8-point with my X-bow, a Kentucky doe with my ML, another doe from IL in November with the shotgun, and a December IL deer with the ML. Gotta save wall space for a Manitoba Black bear this spring!
