  1. He explained to me that the discs are made up of cartlige and fluid, and that one of mine is getting thin. He said that him manipulating that area of my back will allow more blood flow throw that area and it will rehydrate the disk. To explain how it works he used an example of when a person breaks their arm and gets a cast. The area with the cast will start to shrink. When the cast is removed it allows more circulation of blood and fluids and that it returns to it's normal size.
  2. It is frightening how many people drive after drinking. I often over hear people bragging at work about how they don't know how they made it home after getting slamed. It is so very sad, how one persons stupidity can change a family's life forever. Please, Please, Please don't drink and drive!
  3. How awful! Prayers will be sent up from me and my family! We will be praying for a full and speedy recovery.
  4. To be fair, how large of a list could we make where a doctor killed someone that was going in for a routine treatment. I know four people personally who died due to dr's malpractice. That being said, I am still ify about chiropractors, but can't argue the fact that I feel much better after 3 treatments. I did read an article that showed that chiropractors insurance is much cheaper than insurance a general dr has to pay.
  5. They want to see me three times a week for eight weeks. It will cost around $1,600. They did a xray and one of my disc in my back is deteriating. Still don't know if I will go all eight weeks. That is a lot of money.
  6. Why are most doctors so against sending patients to chiropractors? I have had back pain for the last year and a half and off and on for the last five to six years and every time I have asked about a chiropractor the doctors steer me away from them. Finally, tired of hearing me complain, my wife sets up an appointment for a chiropractor and after three sessions my back feels much better than it has in a long time. I just wish I could get a referal from my primary care physician so I didn't have to pay all of it out of pocket.

  12. Also, since there is only one inspector, I will assume you live in a small community. Is there enough construction or realestate sales to support two inspectors in your area? Not trying to discourage you on starting this business, but do your home work. The most common mistake made in small business is not picking the right business to begin with. Best of luck!
  13. I agree, you should at least ask the man for some advice on starting your own business. It would be ideal if he would take you under his wings and help you along, but he may not want the competition. If this is the case, I would search for a business owner in another area, who wouldn't be threatened by the competition, that would be willing to set down and talk to you about starting this type of business. I am sure they could offer a lot of insight.

  19. I am with you. It is getting were we consider it a good day if we see a doe and that is sad. I don't expect to see deer everywhere, but when you put a full day hunting I expect to see at least one deer.
  20. Has the emphasis on harvesting does hurt the deer herd on public land in Oklahoma? I have hunted on Honobia WMA for the last 25 years and it seems like I am seeing fewer deer than what I used to. I hunted with my dad and my brother during the blackpowder season and during the first weekend of rifle season and I saw three deer, my dad seen about five does, and my brother didn't see any deer. We have had similar results for the last several years and my father in law has even quit hunting on the WMA because of not seeing deer. The only thing I can contribute it to is the increase in number of days to kill does and the emphasis on killing them. Have any other Oklahoma WMA hunters had similar experiences?
