I know the language is bad these days. Everyone acts big and bad on the radio.(CB Rambo's) I use it when I get to big cities and ask for some local info for directions. On the road, I leave it off most of the time.
Tom...Should have kept quiet and asked him the next day how his brats turned out. As a kid my parents made the stuff and today I can eat it straight from the jar. Home made kraut.....life is good.
I'd like to get out there and see the boys at Black Hills Archery. I used to live out there and hunted alot. Did everyone get tired of driving to Mitchell ???
The CB I have in my truck is Galaxy 66. Just remember...quality coaxial cable and a noise canceling mike. Oh yea...and make sure your antenna base/bases are grounded good. single antennas work great if all the above is met. My antennas are dual Wilson 2000's. I lost ya didn't I ???
I'm sure there is a formula somewhere for it. What it is I haven't a clue. Tried thinking about it and the left side of my brain was telling the right side......it's dark in here.
Makes them heavy too if you get to much on them. Take them all off and hold them in your hand. Then ask yourself...do I need this much more weight ??? I say yes !!! I think I keep Steve Simms in business.
First one was a Browning compound. (wood riser, no adjustments at all) Second was a Bear Whitetail II, third was a Hoyt MagnaTec, fourth was a Hoyt UltraTec, fifth was a Hoyt Xtec, sixth was a Hoyt ProElite, and lastly my Hoyt Vectrix XL.
Yea...got to make sure the arrow is coming out of the bow straight. If that doesn't do the trick, try buying/borrowing a 100 grain broadhead and let it fly. (F.O.C. correct ???) If all is within the standards, by all means, fletch some up with a noticeable helical. The spin is maybe just what your missing. Just remember....all bows are different.
Sorry it took so long to reply...I was out in Northern California this and last week playing truck driver. I did what you two said and nailed it the first time !!! You guys rule !!!
Those are the arrows that really catch a persons eye. They look AWESOME !!! If I let my daughters or my wife pick my wraps and fletchings, I'd get a new nickname......and we just aren't going to go there.
