  1. I always start of light then put layers on at the stand. My feet are the only thing that the cold bothers. I have tried arctic shield boot warmers with both good and bad days, It seemed what worked one day didn't the next. I started taking an army wool blanket and wrapping it around my boots. I also took one for my wife when she hunted on the ground. It helped keep the warmth in. I hope this helps. In OK in the late season the wind would blow from all directions at once it seemed. Happy hunting bruse
  2. Did you try www.galleryofguns.com I hope it works. You may have to go to a dealer had have it ordered. Good luck bruse
  3. I usually go on word of mouth. If a buddy goes and has a good time then I will try it. What type of hunt are you looking for. I grew up in VA and there should be good hunting around that area. bruse
  4. I agree by shooting what works best, also try the 130 gr bullets. As far as a scope I would try a 4x12. The more powerful you get isn't alays the best since sometimes the yotes pop up really close. It is good to have a low power setting for under 50 yds. Good luck bruse
  5. Great video....hard to pass up that cat WOW bruse
  6. I have 2 traditons pursuit muzzle loaders. I love both of them. I got the second one at walmart on clearance for 140 for the wife. It is stainless/camo. bruse

  12. Hope you feel better. I was thinking that when my kids or us get sick my wife will change most of the things we use each day like tooth brushes and such. It seems to help and also I started really watching what I eat and exercise more and I haven't been sick in 2 years. My daughter seems to bring home all the germs from school. I wish I was 7 again and just had to play all day. Get well soon bruse
  13. I just saw it at Cabelas with the glock light for 523.00. I might get one as well. Let me know how it shoots. bruse
  14. I have several I use but just bought a bad lands for the weight capacity. If you aren't going to haul a lot of weight any should do. I found one at wal[wart on clearance for 20 bucks. It was a two piece bag and pack. bruse
  15. I have to 2 700 sps's. One is a 22-250 and the other is a 30/06. I love both of them. Good choice. I got the sps dm for quicker loading and unloading. bruse
  16. I just use a rope. I tie on end to the stand before I climb. The only thing I worry about is the rope grabbing a branch or something else on the way up. I try to pull it up muzzle down. When I pass it down I do it the same just make sure it is unloaded all the way. I have even let the rope go to soon but did nothing to the scope. Good luck help it helps. bruse
