Speaking of the Notebook. The scenes at the nursing home in the movie were filmed at the Black River House Plantation in Georgetown SC. Iinternation Paper owned/maganged the plantation and home. My Grandfather was one of the head guys for IP which moved him to Georgetown and he took the roll of watching over the land. When I came about, and was learning the ways of the outdoors, Grandpa and my uncle would take me out there hunting and fishing. I still hunt and fish there to this day. I drive by it all the time when I am at our river house. It's about a 5 mile boat ride from our dock to that one. I made the mistake of mentioning this story to some chick that I might know, she wants to go and thinks it will look pretty for some event down the road... End random note for the day, continue on with Sally and his womanly ways.

We have plenty of Ringnecks, they just avoided flying into the shot all weekend! All these divers are crazy flyers. It makes me miss hunting puddlers, where i can actually take only one box of shells and get my limit of 7 and bring home shells. Not the case with the divers. Oh well, I can not wait for next year! Now that I have everything lined up for me, financially wise, birds will be mounted!!! Redhead, woodie, mallard, and pintail shall be in the process of being mounted this time next year.

Its only a 4 maybe 5 hour drive tops, it would be quicker to drive!! Serious note here. Brush, roller or spray a house?

So, I made an offer on another house yesterday and the offer was accepted. The first seller was being a complete tool and was not doing things by the book. The last thing I want is something that he does coming back and biting me in the end. So, I told the dude I was out and that he needed to sign his little paper and return my money. Within 15 minutes I had my money back and the letter signed. Two hours after that I had an offer on another house. I actually think this second house will be so much better for me. For 1k less than the first home. I get 250 more Sq ft, twice the back yard, "RV" parking on the side of the house, and a fridge. I still have to buy a washer and dryer, but that's no big deal. This summer I will paint the outside. I think I am only going to be able to stand the blue for a couple of months. Also, when I move in I will be paiting the teal green wall in the kitchen and den area. That has to go! Everything else I can live with. I have the inspection thursday(tomorrow) morning at 9, so hopefully everything passes and this house actually works out. Wish me luck.
