  8. Write a Hand written Thank you Note! They get thank you emails all the time, take it one step farther! Do an email and hand written. Call back in the morning thanking them as well. It might seem like you are bothering them but youre not, They have to know you are dedicated and want the job bad. Waiting for it is not the way to show them, go get it full force.

    Maybe an inch. A year.
  10. Touché Someone try and sound that word out in typing, I am sure Will can't say it and has no idea what it means.
  11. So, I am in need of the pair. I am 99% sure I want a top loading washer. What brands do I want to look at and which ones to avoid? I want to go on and purchase new instead of used and have something that is going to be trouble free for a couple of years. I know appliances dont seem to hold up these days as they used to, so I am not looking for miracles here. I just need some help in heading in the correct direction. I would like to keep the purchase of the pair under 1k for a good set, and trouble free for 3 years or so. Ideas and thoughts?

Speaking of that. Hey SNOOPER!!! be sure to tell the ex that I bought a house and am moving before I want to tell her. This way she will get all pissy and ask why I didnt tell her asap. Oh, please do this for me, please!!! It would be another rather humorous day of your boring life. No, seriously, do it. I am curious how fast the info will travel, because as of right now, no one knows about this in my town yet.

Nah, I didnt put the pictures with the house number up. haha.
  16. Want to make some money? jk Home inspection is scheduled for this Thursday. I will be there. One good thing about out here is there is ZERO humidity. That keeps a lot of things in better shape than most places. I went over the house for homes, poking and touching and pulling and it seems in very good shape. We will see what Thursday brings. I will check out some smaller indpendent people. Would rather go that option even for the same price. Good call.

Hopefully next year there will be at least 5 ducks mounted up there. An elk and mullie would be nice to, but I dont want to count my chickens before they hatch. haha. until then. There are going to be a lot of decoys on display for decor!
  18. Right after closing, I will head to HR block. I dont want to take the chance of screwing something up. Yes, getting the money now is high priority for me. Thanks again for the help and info.
  19. Was able to pull these off the web. Hopefully sometime this week I will get back over there and get better pic with my cam. I doubt I will be able to get inside since the owners are still living there. Anyhow, I am getting excited about it. I already have supplies lined up to add a little rock to the lower portions of the house to dress it up a bit. I need this dang closing and inspection to come and go without a hitch!

    Happy Birthday Sally!

What's it feel like to be an old bitter man? Happy Birthday!
  21. Thanks New! Very helpful and I appreciate your time in explaining it. So, I can't really do anything about it until I close. Once I have closing papers, its time to fill out the forms and send in. I close on March 15th, so I will not have to wait for 2011, correct? I am willing to wait for the tax credit, haha. Thanks! This process is so confusing and a headache sometimes, but well worth it in the end I hope.
  22. Another question for the Tax experts. I received my W-2s in Jan. At that point I did not intend to purchase a home so I went on and filled them out and actually received the payments. Well, I placed an offer on a house and the buyer took it this weekend. I close early March. What did I do to get the home buyers tax credit? I have heard from a lot of people that once I sign at closing, I will receive the credit 6-8 weeks after if I claim it. Now, does this mean I need to "redo" my taxes for 2009, I do not want to wait till 2011 to get the credit back, because I will need to pay off the down payment loan that my parents are helping me with. Ideas? Dan, if this is hi-jacking your thread let me know and i will move it. Figured you got a pretty good answer to your question and we could turn this into a home buyers/tax credit Q&A.
  23. Pacific flyway is where its at now! Do I need to continue to post more pics? But if you have a spot that is loaded up and can pretty much say we will have a bang up hunt, then I am down. I just dont want to fly and waste vacation on a 1 duck hunt.
