  1. For me, nothing beats the sights, sounds and smells of autumn especially in your "neck of the woods". Looking forward to those cam pics.
  2. Prayers sent. Hope a good diagnosis is made right away.

    Got an issue

If she agrees to go with you make her as comfy as possible (warm clothes, hand & foot warmers, hot drinks) etc. If she likes photography, it may give her another "focus" besides just sitting there, being quiet. I don't hunt with a weapon YET, but do take the camera and have a good time relaxing in the outdoors. If she doesn't want to go at all there really isn't anything much you can do, except to assure her that you will spend equal (or more) time with her and then do it! Good luck to you both. It may take a while before she agrees, so give her some time to think it over.
  4. That's a chilling sight to capture!
  5. Wow! You captured that... "you never know what's walking by"...perfectly!
  6. LOL So was there room left on the truck for the beds and freezer? :clown:
  7. Love your pics. You can really see what they're thinking!

    Great news!!

Nice to see hard work pay off. You both have a lot to celebrate this week. Have fun!

    Ten Years

Congratulations to you both! Have a great celebration.
  10. Thanks guys! Now if I can only get Steve shooting that big one he's after.
  11. Who could not love that face! It's amazing how much she's learned in just a few weeks. Is she chewing up the house yet? LOL
  12. It was our first evening hunt in our new creek blind (the old creek blind had to be abandoned due to the fact that it is now a main trail LOL) This first clip is a nice little buck in the fog. 2x1 buck (nice spiker) These two little guys were so cute. They kept stopping to watch a small plane that was circling around. Steve figures I was at least 800 yds from them which is why this clip is a little distorted...but not too bad. 2 small bucks playing king of the farm.
  13. Sounds good! Happy Anniversary!

    Realtree Kid....

What a sweetie. A happy little man there! Did someone make all his bedding or can you actually buy it already made in Realtree? Looks fantastic.
  15. Good point to remember. It's always been a dream of ours to have a log house.

    Baby Gator #2

Congratulations! Beautiful baby. Welcome to the world Tayler.
  17. Ahhh....Progress! Must be exciting. The log home builders here first build the house on their lot, number them, dismantle and then transport to your lot and rebuild there. Is this the method that was used for your house?
  18. Woolybear, We are praying for you daily. Keep your chin up and know that there are lots of people who truly care about you. Hang in there. This too shall pass.
  19. Not even a hint?? October 22nd seems a long way off but we got it marked on the calendar and can't wait! That'll be awesome!
  20. Buckee's computer is not working properly right now so he's asked me to input here for him. I totally agree with Woolybear. Short social grunts combined with light playful rattling is what they're doing this time of year. They're still in their little social groups and would be curious when they hear another couple of bucks playing. Curiosity killed the cat, and it won't scare them by any means. Least not round these parts. (Buckee talks funny eh?)

    Grandma

If she does get "weepy" just give her a big hug and let her cry it out. Sounds like she's had a rough time and may need your big, manly shoulders for a bit. :flex:
  22. WTG Christina! Those boys were just jealous. Maybe one day you can take them out and show them how it's done!
