  1. The funny thing is, the owner/friend was trying to tell him where other deer were on a couple other spots... BJ was really peed off, wasn't even listening.
  2. never twittered. We got only one stand down, there were a few red wasp nests built into the stand. We will go in and get the last one down later. I feel bad for my friend. He is trying to get his daughter her first deer, and his close friend goes off leases out the property, never told his friend he did this, he had to find out through another guy. I guess I should have made a better post with a topic like " land going fast" Sorry to get bent out of shape.
  3. LOL Chris. Hey its a friend that dresses up in a monkey suit and walks past his friend's trail camera. He then also sits on the log and reads the paper, then he uses a stick to sratch his back. He then dances, just plain funny.
  4. I'd say the hogs and racoons are getting it before the deer.
  5. I like to bring either my gun or bow, I think that'll better my odds. :clown:

  8. Just letting you all know what I was doing. I guess I won't post anything anymore.
  9. A buddy of mine needs me to come help him out, taking down tree stands. He was on some land that he had permission to hunt on, but he found out this past spring that the owner is now leashing it out. So he needs my help bringing them down. Casey
  10. Had a lot of fun today with some close friends. We got out on the water through a outfitter in our town. Went down the mighty White River here in the small town of Shoals, Indiana. I was in a canoe with a girl with no experience at all. I did most of the rowing and navagation. Had to tell her many times to row on one side and switch. We hit the bank a few times. When she got into the system of rowing, she started to tucker out. This is when we had 9 more miles. She tuckered out after 4miles. My arms are so tired and sore, will feel it tomorrow. But had a really fun time with my older brother and our close friends. The great thing about the whole day is that we probably set the record. The guide, (which is a cousin of mine) said we probably was the only group that got it done within 3 hrs and 10 minutes. HoooooRAH!!!!! No wonder why my arms are hurting right now. We did make it into a race. Good exercise for the upper body.
  11. Thats a great buck in any part of the country.
  12. Prayers Harv, hope you have a quick recovery.
  13. Good luck Dakota, you got plenty of time to harvest a good size one.
  14. That song is about killing yourself!!!!!
  15. If you don't want to bump deer, I'd take a look at topographs and areial maps. Great way scout without bumping deer.
  16. Some does might get bred late as well. I seen a doe with a small fawn in the November. We had five inches of snow that night.
  17. The Crush w/ Lee and Tiffany. Nick Hoffman a fiddle player for Kenny Chesney was hunting in Iowa with Lee and Tiff. Nick watched two bucks really get into a fight really close to his stand. I haven't seen a hunting show in a while where they get to film a buck fight. It was very intense and fun to watch.
  18. the smaller buck looks a little nervous...lol
