  1. Have you tried the new 2010, Hoyt AlphaBurner?? If so, whats the pros and cons? I know that the Burner is 6" on the Brace Height but I like that length. Thanks again!
  2. William and others. I've gotten to know you guys a little better than some others. I value your input on a lot of things. Thanks for responding to it. I think sometimes its just me! No body likes me lol. I am only gonna put this out to get pics, the place I am putting it at is a trail and will be over seen by a Cuddeback to see how many big bucks is on this 800 acre farm.
  3. Just like normal, another post I make and nobody answers my question, a bunch of views and not answers. No wonder I don't spend any more time on here.
  4. Good post. I am in total agreement with you. That's a pig!!! congratulations to the youngster and father. That's what hunting is all about.
  5. I picked some up at our local farm store. I wanted to try it cause I have seen what some Antler King products can do to your herd and what it can do to the bucks. I just want to use it to get those bucks out of the thickets to get their pictures with my cuddebacks! So any info would be much appreicated. Thanks for reading!
  6. Well of course your camo and weapon, but I gotta consider cell phone to let people know where your at and what time your be in and your safety harness.
  7. Thanks. I also see you got avatars of good looking women, you'll never get to date and only dream about.
  8. Above is my new beagle pup. Cannot wait for this hunting season to shoot a few bunnies over this dog. She is already started and has tracked a baby rabbit in a full circle, but hasn't opened up yet. She is a ball of fire and really fun to be around. Her AKC registered name is Harner's Sic Em' Sadie. Seems like she is a good little hunter right now and shows me the desire I like in a gun dog, also has a good nose. Here is a video of her. I talked a little too much in the video, my apologies. She is 4 1/2 mths old in the picture. Below is my 2 1/2 year old dog named Moe in a video. Loud chop mouth with the occassional bawl, he's my buddy and I killed 150 some rabbits over him last fall. I ate a lot of rabbits during the winter and had fun!!! Moe has tons of desire and loves the taste of a rabbit, he loves to go gunning!! One of the best dogs I've ever had!! This is why I have cut most of my hunting deer and turkeys out and have focused on these two dogs. I love doing this and its that reason I haven't stopped. Will be getting on this forum more. Have a good one!!!! Your Friend, Casey
  9. I believe this cat might be a young male, pushed out of his terriorty. I remember in the last three years that there has been sightings of them moving in and out of Southern Iowa and Northern Illinois, around Chi-Town and in Southern Illinois. I just knew it would come true when one was spotted in Southern Indiana. I think they can survive in my neck of the woods due to all the big coal mines we have. There is a lot of coal mines that have been used up and there are a lot of caves around where a mountain lion can raise some kittens.
  10. This county borders northeast of mine, we are very close to where this picture was taken at. I actually go fishing here every year with my father and older brother!!! Its excting but also scary to know we got some here now. We have had reports about some in the last few years, but no body had any proof until now!! http://www.theindychannel.com/news/23489186/detail.html

  16. I've shot several bowtechs and they are very smooth bows, but I am a hoyt guy and will probably stay on that side.
  17. I would say if your seeing does during your hunts, I would think the buck would be closer to them than 100 yards. But in your case, I'd sit a tree stand by the fence row or sit a blind up. Take some of the down corn stalks and place them around your blind. Bring some antlers and rattle him in. Good luck.
  18. Thanks Mark for taking these, I hope they serve your sons well. Thank you for responding. Accessories gone to whitetailtrax
  19. my 02 cents. I have heard nothing but great things about the orginal trophy taker. Will be putting one on a new bow this spring. I have had lots of realtree forum members swear by this rest. GOOD LUCK!
