    Married people....

It went like this, introduced at a tag sale June 23, 1990. Became engaged January 5, 1992 and got married August 7, 1993 and now almost 17 years later and 3 wonderful kids we are loving every day! BRHNTR:)
  11. It used to be the Hartford Whalers while growing up. I don't follow hockey that much anymore but love it as long as the Boston Bruins are losing. Otherwise the team I follow in sports are Yankees, Celtics, Patriots and UCONN! BRHNTR
  12. Ditto with Ruth's comment about the custom calls & small guy. BRHNTR
  13. Ruth, Welcome to the real world !!!!! BRHNTR
  14. My wife and I drove out Friday getting to Harrisburg just as the driving was starting to get bad. Went to the show all day saturday. We where not in the first building 2 seconds and we ran into Tim at the Cabelas booth, what a super nice guy! Walked the show till almost 5:00. Got to talk to Stan Potts, Tim, Chuck Adams and of course had to have my picture taken with Lee and Tiffany. The halls where easy to walk in because not alot of people came on Sat because of the snow. Got up and drove home early Sunday morning and now its back to work!!! BRHNTR
  15. I try every year. For $25.00 what the heck. If you get drawn I will be more than happy to help you out with logistics. I live in CT and own a camp on a lake in NH. BRHNTR
  16. Wife and I will be there opening weekend. BRHNTR
  17. Great idea Tim. Another suggestion would be to bake them this week and that way you could take them to Harrisburg and any fourm members who stop by and say hi could judge them also! BRHNTR
  18. My buddy has a small pond and has dug one end deeper than the rest of the pond to hold cold water in the middle of the summer. He has stocked it with trout and has great luck. When he first stocked it he has to feed the trout fish pellets till they learned to fend for themselves. The fishing 3-4 years later now is fantastic with 16"-18" fish being caught. It's a great place for me to take my son fishing. BRHNTR
  19. Looks like opening weekend the wife and I will be there. BRHNTR
  20. Has anyone been on a mountain lion hunt in the last couple of years? Who did you hunt with? What month did you go in? Thinking about booking a hunt for next winter and looking for recomendations. BRHNTR
  21. Who is going to the Harrisburg show this year? When will you be there. Fourm members should try to get together? BRHNTR
  22. Ruth, Everyone here is talking to you based on experience and not to slam you for your decisions. My wife has a nursing degree. We got married 2 months after she graduated from college. She took the first job offered to her only to back out of it a few weeks later when her dream job of working in the operating room came thru. She is still there to this day and it will be 17 years this summer. You always start at the lower end and work your way up. After 17 years the money is unbelievable and with the amount of OT that they ask her to work because the hospital is sooo short staffed is crazy. That is a reason that we are able to go to places like Alaska every couple of years or Costa Rica fishing etc. We now have 3 kids also and they are gems but alot of work to keep them busy, sports etc. If we where not driven to give ourself and our children a better lifestyle we could go live in the woods of northern New England. Just remember your life is what you make of it. You have a choice to make it better the only thing that people don't like to hear is people complain about their life, GO MAKE IT BETTER, ITS A FREE WORLD. BRHNTR
  23. I agree with the above statment. Ruth you should be able to walk into almost any hospital and get a job. Just a thought is that you are being too picky or your limiting yourself with the camp demand. It maybe time to say good bye to the camp thing and start working a steady 7-330 job. I'm not looking to make you mad but I have been watching your posts and it's what I see. BRHNTR
