I had a 835 turkey gun that I bought after I graduated high school.1st 3.5 mag and in the original realtree.It rattled and it kicked like a mule. Sold it and got a 870 sps super mag.

Everyone around here likes the hornady but I have read not so good reviews on the expantion of them.I like the Winchester dual bonded. They hold great patters and the holes they makes are big!

Heading to Ft. Benning Georgia to watch my girlfriends son gratuate bootcamp.I hope the weather holds out.It feels odd not packing camo and a shotgun for a spring vacation!

I'm going to ask my girlfriends boy if he wants to go this year.He has never been turkey hunting.He has always been in school or working 1st shift.He bought a 12 gauge 870 thumbhole 3.5 inch camo turkey gun years ago and put a gobblerstopper scope on it.We just need to sight it in.He will be home for a couple weeks on leave after bootcamp from the army.I would like to be there and help him get his 1st tom!

I had a turkey shock gobble to a cops siren a mile away.He ended up riding in the back of my truck that day! I also heard 3 toms shock gobble to a hawk screaching last week in Florida.Again one of the toms got a ride in the back of my turck!

I went to florida last week and got 2 oseolas.that finishes my 1st and 2nd grand slams.2012 i got my 2 rios and 2011 i got my 2 merriams and have got 6 easterns since my 1st year turkey hunting in 2009.now i want to try and go wolf or bear hunting.

I got a trueglow gobbler stopper on my back up gun that my girlfriend uses.it has a compartment on top of the knob you turn it on by for a extra battary.i use fiberoptic rifle sight that came stock on my 870 sps for my main turkey gun.

He was 17 1/2 lbs. 1 1/8 spirs 8 1/2 inch beard. my 2nd bird was better.20 lbs. 11 inch beard and 1 1/2 inch spirs. rules say first bird so i got to put the smaller of the two.he was the 1st bird harvested.

I just got back from my trip. I got my first oseola the 1st day wedsday right off the roost. I'll get him entered soon. Hunted hard thursday and on friday the last hour got a great bird.After setting up with no luck we chased a group 3 hours and we got in front of the group of 9 hens and 3 gobblers.I shot the strutter.My season has started off great! I finished my 1st and 2nd grand slam!

My turkey season starts March 20{1st day of spring} in Florida. Ohio season starts April 22.I'm after my oseolas so I can get my grand slam or 2 grand slams with a lot of luck!

I'm in and I know my nephew, Waterfowler wants to do it again.

Is there going to be a contest this year?1 month from today I start my season in Florida.
