Those are great pictures. I have not been there in a couple years and we are planning a trip out there next spring.

I am trying to think of a new prank to pull on my cousin at deer camp this year. I need to get him good because last year he got me in a good prank. He set up a wind up alarm clock to go off an hour after daylight and then a second alarm clock to go off 30 minutes after that. He placed these within 30 yards of my tree on opening morning. We have been pulling these pranks on each other for years, any suggestions will be considered.

Thats a nice looking buck good luck getting him. Also a little hint when setting up your trail camera, to aim it to the north or south so you dont get the setting or rising sun like in your picture. But it looks kind of cool with that bright light behind him

I finally got my 2008 archery buck back from the taxidermist. The guy is a little on the slow side but he does a great job I think. It is the bottom 10 pointer, it scored 127 p&y after 11.5" deductions because the g4 on the right side was broken off when he ran into a tree, but I had to have it measured without that point and I had the taxidermist attach it back on.

He looks like an extremely young deer i would give him another year or two, and if he still has no points then i would shoot him.

Last season i saw a fawn with about half its spots on october 23 i remember this because i keep a journal that i write in when i am out hunting. But right now most are still spotted.

Thats is pretty cool but how much wood does he have to sell to break even?

I forgot to set the date/time when one of the batteries fell out. No we did not catch any fish, but we had fun drowning some lures.

well we just got back from our trip and had a great time. We did a lot of scouting and got a couple good trail camera pictures.

I am taking my son with me to Missouri to do some scouting and take down the trail cameras I set up 3 weeks ago. We will do a little fishing on the side also. This should be a great father son weekend campout. I am so excited!!!

I use to drive a big bright banana yellow western star hauling a nice and shiny stainless steel tanker. I had that baby spotless. It had some big 10" duel stacks and that would vibrate a glass of water on our counter in the house. Then one day i was on vacation and some idiot borrowed it because his rig was in the shop and he ended up falling asleep and rolling it, doing 70 on the highway. Needless to say there was not much left to her after that.

So is there a problem with the magazine? I thought you were complaining about ads?

I have had the best luck with just plain old molasses or syrup, it is cheap. But anything that has a strong smell and will stick to a stump and is sweet tasting will attract a deer.

If you wear rubber boots in your house or truck on the way to your stand they may have some scent on them. But i have to believe that they are pretty much scentless, from what i have read and witnessed in my hunting past. But everybody has their own opinions.

If im hunting public land he goes down but he walks if i am on my private honey hole.

I would put him in the mid 130's
