to me 10 guage is a overkill..... but thats me id rather stick with a 20ga because its light to cary around... well it was until i scoped it lol

if that were the case i wouldent stop shaking for years lol i seen a "monster" our first firearm season chaseing a doe but i missed because i didnt have my scope if he makes it and stays around next year he will meet his maker :gunsmilie::gun2::gun1::bat:

thats what i was thinking a friend of mine is moveing friday and there haveing a welcomeing party and there big deer ppl and they didnt get one this year so i was wanting to make it for them but dont have access to a grill

in the south zone of il first season opens up april5th and closes april9th the second season open the 10th and closes 15th the third season open the 16th closes on the 21st forth season opens up 22nd and closes the 28th fifth season open up the 29th and runs until may the 6th .... were aloowed one male turkey or one hen with a visible beard per permit with a max of 3 permits i have 2 1 for the third season and one landowner so technicaly i could hunt every season but im not going to just the third and forth possibly the fifth if i dont have my second bird by then were only allowed to hunt until 1:00pm which to me sucks i dont like it but thats the dnr for ya lol

i would be useing a special broad head for turkeys if i was useing a bow just my own opinion but thankfully i dont have to worry bout that cuz ill leave the killin ot my trusty 20 guage

i fell yalls pain on the ice with the ice storm we got here last year im prayin that the forcasters dont screw this up with calling snow then turn into ice!!!!

yep we call them F.O.I.D cards must carry them at all time's when u have a firearm in your possession .... weve only had 2 bad winters that i can think of one was last year witht he ice storm we got it bad and the other was that ice storm the year before that but other than that winters are usally pretty nice
