  2. Not sure but if it helps you any I do use them year around they seem to get activity also so I would give it a try, might get a big one
  3. That dosen't sound like ticks but chiggers too me they are bad here in North Carolina too when its hot
  4. Just some yesterday here for $25 per 55 gallon drum so equals out to $3.57 per 50lbs. it was hard to find but it kinda lets you know how much everyone else is making on there corn too.

  6. I am sure .410 would be fine at 50 yards but I wouldn't stretch it much
  7. Every year I say if it goes up anymore I am going too cut back but I never do it just ends up costing me more and more to hunt
  8. I know the feeling I just put mine out today I will let them sit for about 3-4 weeks now but after the season opens I will check on them weekly

  10. Those GA. bucks are like my NC bucks kinda hard to tell age from a pic but I would say 3.5 maybe 4.5 and score around 135
  11. Same here right towards the end of the season you can pic it up at Walmart for $4 a gallon I stock up for the next season, it has worked for me for years also
  12. I hear ya I have huntted in NC for years and have seen some really nice bucks we just don't have alot of bucks in #'s but we have some nice ones in the right areas
  13. Yeah I can understand how mad that must make you. I had two dogs run deer by my stand one time and where i hunt you can't use dogs but one county over you can, it was really ashame that those two dogs died of lead posioning
  14. Didn't say it was logical just saying you may not choose too, I don't but you will never stop it from happening so why even worry about it

  17. For years I used a dripper with all different kinda or scents, last year I went to the code blue mock scrape "grave digger" and I will never go back to anything else the stuff is great. I also start as soon as I see mt first scrape
  18. I may not whom ever may not chose to kill a 1.5 tear old buck but to be truthful as long as deer are taking legally its not my right or anyone elses to judge them

Thanks for posting, kinda funny though Toyota has given alot of money to the autobahn assn. to fight against costal fishing here in North Carolina but go to the local Bass Pro and there a Toyota truck on display out front, also need to look at how much money Bank of America give to anti hunting and fishing groups I am sure if we dig enough alot of companies do.
  21. It around $10 here in North Carolina if you can find any, our club sounds like yours we are strugling to keep what we have and keep in where a working man can even afford it.
