Nice deer looks like you made the best of your hunting time, congrats

I would think you could put as many as you want so you could hunt different wind directions in the same area. I also would limit myself to and # of stands i know where i hunt sometimes just a few hundred yards away there may be totally different area to hunt, hope this helps

I have just tried to upgrade every year last year i got my best so far a 117 inch eight point which is not a bad deer in NC but l hope to get even better

I agree with everyone that a 270 will kill deer I shoot a 300 wsm and I never feel the shot when I am shooting with any gun

Opening day rifle Nov. 14th grunted him in he came running to 40 yard from my stand he is a decent eight for around here one more buck tag so I hope to upgrade

A trophy deer is different for everyone I hunt in a club where guys kill the first buck they see, they payed there dues just like me and everything was legal, I chose not to hunt that way but thats my choice. If I want meat i will kill does and wait for the big boys but thats what I do everyone has the right to do what they want too

I kinda agree with you I think there are locked down with the does so maybe soon they will be back up searching for some food

The same here started about ten days ago or so but I haven't and the guys in my club haven't seen as many bucks chasing the girls this year not sure why. I was able to grunt a decent eight pointer in Mon. am.
