I have used the RT-900 with the .19 sight pins. It had multiple pins. I bought it to hunt with. It was very light weight and solid construction. It was my first time using the .19 sight pins. I found out I prefer a larger size. Bought would recommend the product otherwise.

Thanks for the help. Yeah I think I will do some more research before I try anything like this. I was trying to save some cash by using what I had laying around instead of buying D batteries all the time.

I have a moultrie game camera which has a external 12vdc plug to use instead of D batteries. Has anyone tried making their own battery pack? I have some 6v batteries I was thinking of putting in series to get the 12 volts. And then just adding the connector that fits the camera. Has anyone tried anything like this? Anything to look out for? Or can someone point to some instuctions? I don't want to ruin the unit obviously.
