  1. If its for turkey I would say Kicks Gobblin Thunder in .665 shootin #5s in 3in. I bought the choke to get a better pattern at 40 to 50 yrds and this is agood one.I dont normally take 50yrd shots but last year I had one hang-up out of range. Ill get him now!!
  2. Is that a Pieball colored, Those almost look like their from a farm. LOL
  3. I like to imatate the birds Im hearing, every once in while make a loud fast yelp or cutt. this makes the toms think someone new is there. You also might try smacking your hat against your leg, this really sounds like a fly down or a small fight! I done this a time or 2 and got a few hung-up toms to show them selfs in the woods that I might not have gottin a shot on!. They will come lookin! Good Luck.
  4. Been seeing them strut, havent heard much gobblin. Im here in west central indiana and our season opens 4/21. Good Luck!
  5. Wished it never stopped! I even left my stands in the trees, all three trees had deer around them early and the late season. I might need to clear alittle limbs and branches, but yeah lets start it up again!
  6. I agree with mallard drake, I only shoot 10 or 20 arrows in at session. It seems like my group stay tighter,Too many arrows I start gettin shakie. I will shoot more sessions as season gets closer. Im wanting to shoot more, like maybe a 3D shoot for fun in the off season. thats my 2cents

I bought one from bp just like that, I didnt like the small sight window and not very much magnafication. If you buy it, sight it in at 20yrds with regular bird shot then make adjustments. Dont use the expencive turkey loads, until you get the dot in the center of the pattern. Then move out to 30 or 40 yrds. But keep in mind that 30yds through that red dot wont look the same as a regular scope! Thats my 2cents, Good Luck!
  8. Nice bird! We still have 20 days til the Indiana season starts. I cant wait!!!!!!!!!
  9. Ive also used and like them, I switched from the Rem Copper solids to those. They worked well through My 500A Mossy slug gun.
  10. Ive always had luck with a circle set-up, I just wondering if there was any tricks anybody had.
  11. Whats everyones take on this,Whats the best arrangement? I like them all facing towards each other, hens in a circle and a full strut dec off-set from the circle. Anybody else got a majic spread set-up?
  12. Along the lines of what CAMOMAN1 said , Just havin private land that isnt got a bunch of pressure on it. Nothin like seeing the guy across the road callin to birds in the field as hes standing on his front porch.
  13. Yeah, thats about right, Just when you think your workin them, Its the other way around. Its a beautiful Torment. LOL
  14. This new choke is a result of last years season,I had a nice bird hold up and he never would come in, I was hot but then I thought "Man that was cool" and now I can think " Man nice bird"
  15. Its tight at 20yds but its got a super pattern at 50yds. Thats what I wanted to get from this choke, you know that one bird that just wont come an inch closer now I can reach out and KNOCK THE SNOT OUT HIM,yeah
  16. 4/6 duplex where do you get the duplex shells, I ve never seen them. I would try them.
  17. I got a kicks Gobblin thunder choke in .665 for my Moss 535ats Tactical Turkey 12ga. Im shooting Win high velosity 5s in 3in. I shot at 20yd, 40yd and 50yd and I had all good patterns. I didnt know a choke tube could turn a gun around from what the factory X-port .665 was patterning. If any one is thinking of a new choke, Kicks may be the one. Good luck and lets all get a big one!
  18. I got a Mossberg 535ats Tactical Turkey in M.O.B. 12ga. Just in time for the up coming season. Its a nice gun.
