I managed to pay rent, two different phone bills, water, electricity, AND buy a muzzleloader all in three weeks. It can be done Oh, and I even put gas in the truck :flex:

I thought the camshaft position sensor just kinda fine-tuned engine performance, no? And also ran the tach too? Camshaft sensor went out on my Dad's Blazer little while ago, didn't really affect the engine at all, just lost the tach.

My wife says she won't have any kids after 30 :jaw: I'm trying to get her to up it to 35, but we're young yet and haven't even started thinking about kids yet

I like your thinking Doc. Everyone uses deceptiveness in advertising, and I've gotten pretty sick of it. I know that their suits don't eliminate 100% of oders, and they know it too so they shouldn't say it does.

Every time I watch this movie I realize once again the terrible price that must be paid for the freedoms that I enjoy everyday, and that all too often I take for granted. A HUGE thanks to all who have served and are serving now. I SUPPORT OUR TROOPS 100%!!!!!!! And may God bless you all!

Yeah I think the chart said that 150 grains of powder will get 1000 ft-lbs. give or take with the Powerbelt bullet, though the Hornady beats it hands-down in every aspect. I'm going to try shooting both to see which one shoots better. I've heard that a full powder charge rarely gets the best groups so I was kinda thinking of sticking to 100 grains of powder.
I should probably mention that I will probably never even shoot a deer as far as 200 yards out. I like to see how close I can get. But you never know

LP tractors used to be fairly common back in the 40's and 50's, though they were underpowered when compared to a gasoline engine of the same displacement. This is what the typical John Deere LP tractor looked like:

That was a JD model 70. Here is a John Deere 4010:

If you could remember the model number that would really help.

I was just looking at a diagram of ballistics for Powerbelt bullets, which is what CVA recommends I shoot in my gun, but the ballistics don't look so hot. A 295-grain bullet with 100 grains of powder in 50 caliber only achieves just over 800 ft-lbs. of energy at 200 yards. Is that enough to kill a deer? In contrast a 300-grain Hornady bullet with 100 grains of blackpowder makes 1117 ft-lbs. of energy at the same distance, beating the Powerbelt with even 150-grains of powder.

I pay extra for something made over here. Tools, hunting gear, clothes, etc. I'll pay more if it's made in America. Or Canada too I guess :clown:

If it were only harmful to the smoker then I would say the government has no right stepping in there. But it harms everyone else around so I figure it becomes a public health issue. Just my two cents.

While I was at work tonight I happened to pick up a case of small American flags. Guess what it said in big bold letters on the side of the box...MADE IN CHINA . We can't even make our own flags for cryin' out loud?! We have to ship our orders overseas so that our flags can be made cheaper??? :nono:
