    MPG's

Geez all you guys with the Chevy full-size trucks are getting better mileage than my 4.3L Jimmy. I guess that's just an excuse to get a bigger truck than I have now Nathan

    MPG's

Just wondering what you drive and what kind of mileage you get in your ride. I drive a GMC Jimmy 4.3L V6, I usually get 16.8 MPG but last time I filled the tank I got 17.5 MPG. I guess I was driving it too nice What do you get? Nathan
  13. Little communities like that are often the most supportive because everybody knows everybody My brothers caught some craw-daddy's last year and boiled and ate them but I don't think I ever ate them. I would like to eat a pot full of them, I sure love shrimp :jaw: Nathan
  14. That's a lot what my Dad and I do. He'll usually sit on the end of the timber while I slowly stalk stalk through it. We both always know exactly where each other are, and usually we can see each other. When my Dad and I don't set up on a specific point that's usually what I do. I love creeping through the brush and catching a glimpse of the deer before he sees me. Almost all of my last deer were shot at or under 50 yards while he/she was completely unawares of me. That's what hunting is about to me. Getting as close as you can, not shooting as far as you can. Nathan Nathan
  15. Got a new addition to the family today Brand-spankin' new CVA Optima, beautiful stainless barrel. I can't wait to get out and start shooting it, but I think that will have to wait a week or two :jaw: Nathan
  16. I got instructions to make one of those once, and even the turtle to do it But my little brother and sister would/couldn't let me do it. Nathan
  17. I was just looking this up actually to add to this discussion, this is the only reason why I still go to their stores. http://money.cnn.com/2010/03/04/news/companies/Starbucks_gun_policy/ I think this is the original article I first read. Nathan
  18. The Blue Angels are VERY good, saw them last year. And I might go back and see them again this year, I think the air show is in two weeks. Nathan
  19. I loved numbers 7 and 11 Nathan
  20. Go for it and never look back!! :D That's what I always say Nathan
  21. That's how you gotta lay it down for those bosses sometimes Just tell them how it is Nathan
  22. That's the ML I'm looking at and planning on buying as soon as I can save my pennies . I've never ever heard a bad thing about a CVA gun, either the top-of-the-line model or the very cheapest. And I really loved the tool-free breech plug, CVA made taking it out too easy Nathan
  23. Beautiful looking bird And the gun looks pretty good too, what were ya shooting? Nathan
  24. My Dad and I went out quite a bit, and neither of us got a bird this year. It was a tough tough season :jaw: Nathan
  25. Very true, I'm surprised a Mississippi boy like you knew that It's just the bottom two tiers of counties that are allowed to use rifles, I'm pretty sure. It could be the bottom three tiers. That's way south of me either way. And I never did get that part about the January antlerless-only season getting to use rifles. It's a very quiet season, not many hunters out. Perhaps thats way, maybe a test or something to see how well it goes over. Nathan
