  1. after having played with both and then getting my hand on a samsung tab i went with the tab... .they have a kindle app for it and it does so much more for around the same price.
  2. saw this on AT too perry, like i said over there great bucks and yes NC i feel is becoming a sleeper state where whitetails are concerned. genetics are certainly getting better!
  3. be careful with that. in counties where it is legal to run dogs you will get a worse punishment for shooting the dog than you will poaching a deer out of season. On a side note i have had dogs show up from miles away.... walkers will nip and a bucks heels and all the buck will do is run in a straight line 2 counties over if he needs to, to escape a dog. and most states laws require that dogs be under handler control at all time even if it be just yelling and getting them to come back...
  4. cam lean issue. the string is traveling too far in a lateral motion. need to put it on a drawboard to check the lean and the stops. stops need to be hitting the cable at the same time and the cams should be straight up and down at full draw. start there.
  5. saw it on AT congrats on an awesome buck!!!!
  6. FORM FORM FORM!!!! Many people totally forget form when the moment of truth comes. I am guilty as well. Have been working religiously to make proper form into muscle memory....

  8. NO way i would do that.... i would freak...
  9. what arrows? cut to what length? how far down is balance point on the arrow? and you might need to broadhead tune only. no field points.
  10. ok, on a walk back tune are you hitting dead on at any yardage and then hitting side to side or what? and no do not fletch with a helical even says not to on the broadhead pack. what is your set up? that might help a little bit to see if there is something that needs to change besides broadhead or vane.
  11. Seen it anwhere from $3.50 and acre to $10 an acre here.... I would love to get my hand on the $3.50 an acre piece but it is landlocked.
  12. are your blazers fletched with a helical?
  13. Thanks anyways tim... what camera set up do you usually run if you dont mind me asking?
  14. Yeah i cant afford the cameras there. I'm talking about something like 500 and under preferably.

    Parenthood rant

wow sounds rough.... thats what i get to look forward to in the 6 years or so.... still got a while lol
  17. Tying in a Peep Sight from pabucks.com That is how Have mine tied and i will say that mine cannot move.
  18. I would almost be willing to bet that the new string was out of spec and caused you loss of poundage and performance....
  19. WOW! That is nuts.... Keep us posted on what the findings are.
  20. The switchback is not a very harsh cam. So the 5575 should suffice, however you may want to shoot the 7595 like stated above it will probably tune better.
  21. The XT hunter 5575 are best bang for the buck from gold tip. That is what i shoot. It also depends on the cam(s) on the bow. What bow is it?

    Heat wave

it was 104 at my house and 101 at work... only gonna get hotter down here too
  23. got to play with one... kinda flimsy good idea but just not built to the standards i want for that price.
  24. Stay away from hill climbs if you have a big 4x4 quad!!!! cant tell you how many atv's i've towed off of the stair steps and the other ridiculous hill climbs there.... other than that there are trails for everyone. sport ride trails that are easy to slide out on, mud trails to bury up a quad and normal trails for sight seeing. you will need a change of clothes by the end of the day i promise, and either bring extra gas or be prepared to pay some outragous prices.
  25. Ben i gotta disagree on this one... I have 18's on my Tundra which is factory. They are just plain jane aluminum wheels that give me about a 1/2 inch of clearance between the wheel and the front calipers...some trucks just cant get a 17 inch wheel anymore lol.
