They are very comparable but I will say that in hauling a load the ford will get better gas mileage all day long, but the dodge will pull it better in my opinion. Feels like its not working as hard to pull it.
Dodge's cruise. Dodge designed that cruise control with flat road and no head wind lol. Poor design but they all do it, and it will shift down to the lowest gear possible to pick speed back up. Typically I wont use the cruise in my ram unless it is perfectly flat road.
Didnt get a chance to hunt back home this year. Previous years though did pretty well, took 2 bucks within 5 minutes of each other in '08. and saw plenty in between. but that is the last time i had a chance to hunt at home.
The 2010 and up Ram trucks do not have the lifetime powertrain warranty. There are so many different options on the Ram trucks anymore that it is ridiculous. They have heated steering wheels as an option. However I do not know much about the outdoorsman. They came out after i left the dealership. From what I understand It is just a beefed up shock package. Nothing to major though. But what i can tell you is that a brand new 2 wheel drive hemi, premium sound heated everything and the cool storage in the front floorboard will run you about $43000.
Agreed Time and Steve are great guys, true pro's in my opinion. They stay active with the community, not just appearances and tv shows. Thank you Tim and Steve for helping us all a part of your hunting experience.
Those rage heads were designed for that light powndage low energy bows. on the flip side, you gain speed with a lighter arrow but lose terminal velocity. so i would experiment with it and find a happy medium.
Other than hunting... i enjoy working with horses. I haven't been able to do it since i joined the air force but that used to be one of my favorite things to do.
From what I understand the MX3 was built to compete with the slick tricks, they were also designed to fly better with blazer vanes. However with the performance issues i've had with slick tricks lead me to stray away from broadheads with that steep of a cut angle. But if you do try them out let me know how they fly!
Well, what draw length and weight are you using? That will help a lot for a goond all around arrow I shoot gold tip 5575's. I pull 64 pounds at 28 inches and they do great for me.
Play the wind... Hunting fields is a tricky thing... locate a pinch point either going to the field or coming out of. Then hang your stand and hunt. Now quit typing and go hunting
