Not always true, my uncle had a 3 bedroom 2 bath modular put on his home for near half the price that and exact same floor plan stick built would have cost at the time. Now over time he has added to it. A sun room over looking his pond along with a 4 bay garage with a complete carpenters shop. The money he saved buy buying modular bought all of it. His home has near tripled in value just buy investing the money elsewhere on his property rather than dumping it all into the house.

OK, have you changed the oil? a milky white oil is often your best indicator of a blown head gasket. You can get into compression checks and what not, but that takes a while to do and is not recommended unless your with someone that has done it before. the thermostat is burping (letting air out) dont fill it all the way, just fill it until you can see the antifreeze, then wait, it will go down when the thermostat opens. also, get it up to operating temp. (the temp gauge measures water temp not block temp) so drive it for 15 minutes, and then as redneck as this sounds put it to the floor. it is good for it to be done sometimes but not everytime you drive it. just to get the engine working a little harder, and get the rpms up. let us know what the oil looks like when you change it. i would suggest that first.

i had a drop away rest for years. mine was not a full containment like the QAD but i did not like it. I went with a biscuit because its easy cant fail and its quiet.

Don't pull the fuel filter without a scan tool... i made that mistake never again with a duramax. you have to have the scan tool to prime from there. A friend of mine had a cummins that was getting 21 when he first bought it then one day it dropped to 15. and stayed there we changed out filters, everything we could and no change. about 2 months later his lift pump died and took the rail pump and injectors with it. we put a FASS fuel system lift pump 200hp bullydog rail pump 150hp injectors on it and an edge juice with attitude. all of a sudden now he gets 28 on the highway and 22 in the city. from the factory diesels are not set up very efficient at all.

dont use lighted knocks or wraps... but i have a system that i am testing that says i can still see my arrow at night. but all my arrows are fletched in either blaze orange and white or red and white.
