yea ik but then i was sure it was the poundage and arrow speed but basically now thinking about it i think it was just the bow all around it was a old bow i think it was just worn out and i think that because it was a good shot if it penetrated then it would have been center lungs and it was a 22 yard shot but this bow i have now is faster im still at about 200 fps but the other one was only probably about 140 so im just going to do what you said and that was just a bad experience thats all it is. I have a genesis that i would probably be able to get rid of if he wants it. I dont really know of what i wanna change yet. Probably be hunting on a new lease this year with my dad. And dont give up the sport yet.

looks good man. What i normally do is if its just one that someone gives me to practice on i throw it in an ant pile with a 5 gallon bucket ontop and a few bricks on the bucket to keep critters out. Then i hang it from a tree in a bucket of bleach and water keeping the antlers out. Let it dry. Tape up the antlers. Then use some sea-shell colored paint (its like a really light tan) just to hide the little bit of stains and stuff the bleach couldnt take off on the rest of the skull. They come out really nice the last one i did i painted it like a hunters green just for something different. But really nice looks great.

im at about 55 or 56 right now and its fairly easy to pull but i had a bad experience with about at like 53 pounds that should have been a kill but the deer just ran off with it and never went down. but i hsve gotten s new bow since then. That was an old bow but i'll never forget that and i dont ever want that to happen again. I got the doe in my avatar with my newer bow.

Hey guys i was wondering if there is any way to increase how much you can physically can pull on a bow. By working out which muscels? I dont mean just increasing the draw weight because i know howto do that. Thanks in advance.

I have about a year and a half ago at like a 23 inch draw at 55 pounds i shot about 186 but now im about up to 25 in draw so idk right now but this makes me wanna go and see

Well if your still growing then get the diamond razor edge. Great bow. i own one and it goes from 19 to 29 inch draw and from 30 to 60 pound pull weight. they start at about 329.99 thats what mine was it comes with a sight and rest. Which you can upgrade later.
