  1. Never heard of it, just looked at it quick, so you just take your different camera pics and upload them into the app and it takes and analyzes all the different info?
  2. Good luck on this one Pat, looks like a good one!
  3. Been out only a couple times here so far, saw a small 6 or 7 point at about 70 yards the other night. Decided not to go out Saturday, temps in the 70’s here, just not feeling that cool fall air yet. Looking forward to getting out a few times over the next couple weeks.
  4. Cool story Strut. Pretty cool they’re able to do that and that you were able to keep the antlers in great shape. Congrats on the trophy.
  5. Not sure why the photo attachments came in differently, let me know if any issues viewing the actual taxidermy photo.
  6. So i got the idea from Al because he said he would be posting his taxidermy in here from last year, it dawned on me i forgot this taxidermy room existed.. So here's my 2021 Bow Buck back, I picked him up in late August, Taxidermist did a great job. 7E640312-2719-430C-8B6D-A1759D9F15C2.heic
  7. Ditto. I wouldn’t wait for anyone William, just jump on.
  8. Dang Frank, sorry to hear. Definitely been there and had almost the same type of shot and result just a couple years ago on what would have been my biggest ever. Best thing to do is get back in stand, learn from it and hope for another or better opportunity. They’re strong animals, he’s probably out cruising somewhere!
  9. Congrats, season started here just this week, gonna head up to Maine next weekend for a two day bow hunt, will be back up there for a couple days in early November. Other than that I’ll spend most my time here in Mass with the Bow.
  10. I’ll give it to you Martin, that’s a pretty good one! Good luck this year guys 👍
  11. tough animals, good to see she's made it through a few years and is reproducing for the future.
  12. Well, here we go guys. Good luck this year! Hate to see so few people doing the Deer Contest but glad there's a few of us that come back every year for it!
  13. heck of a deer there Al, hope you guys get a chance to stick a tag on that this year.
  14. I’m good with bigger teams. 3 for now.. if we get another couple people we can do two teams of 4.
  15. Nice job Martin, gettin' her done early as usual.
  16. Congrats Frank. Nice late season success for you.
  17. Thanks guys. I’ll send pics next year when he’s done at the Taxidermist.
  18. A recipe we cooked up tonight, we do this fairly often with store bought sausage links, but nice to do with venison (for family of 5) 5-6 Red bliss potatoes cubed and put in stone baking dish (or pyrex type dish) 4 garlic cloves chopped (left in decent size chunks) add garlic to potatoes, season with season salt of choice, onion powder and or chopped onions drizzle extra virgin olive oil over top of everything, stir potatoes and garlic to mix everything together, add more season salt as necessary. cook at 400 degrees for close to an hour, mixing potatoes 3-4 times throughout add 1 pound of venison sausage cut into 3/4" +/- chunks to potato mixture and cook for another 15-20 minutes, mixing once in between (i had garlic and cheese venison links processed, would work with probably any flavor) Enjoy!
  19. opening day shotgun season here in mass today, went out with my two younger brothers and my father, we ended up putting two small bucks down within an hour of one another this morning around 8:30. Pretty exciting to be able to double up and share in the excitement with my dad and brothers, dads the one who got us all into in the first place. Not an upgrade unfortunately but a good day nonetheless.
  20. Yes, I’ll second that. Definitely quiet around here but I still look forward to the contest every year. Thank You William.
  21. Nice story and pics Frank, congrats. Nice you’re still sticking with it.
  22. Very nice Lewis! That puts a nice respectable score on the board for us!
